|Dennis Anderson||Barbara Carnell Sims Abernathy|
I am a great-great grandson of William Arthur Abernathy, who is the father of Thomas Jefferson "Abby" Abernathy. Abby is the half brother of my grandfather's father James Lewis Abernathy. My mom posted a picture of William Arthur's obituary and it got me to thinking. I have been wondering if any of my Abernathy relatives have been in contact with that branch of the family tree. It looks like from Lola Urena Creasy Sims Gregory's obituary that there were some Abernathy grandchildren. Any information you have regarding this branch would be appreciated and you can contact me at Danderson74@yahoo.com.

I found a Alwyn L Sims b. 1/19/1926 d. 10/26/1955.
I'll have to go back and see if Sherwood has another location for Annie McVey and Alvin Lewis Sims.

|Gray Hawk||James Milton Creasy|
Hi, I will go to the office and get a copy of the section his wife is buried in and see who is buried in the two unmarked graves.

|JohnF||Regarding James Milton Creasy|
General logic would assume that James would be buried next to his wife, Edith, or in the same grave as her (Double Depth). There are two unmarked graves to the immediate left (looking at her fallen stone) of Edith. To the right of Edith is an old large tree. You might want to clarify James' exact location, with or without a marker, with Hopewell City public works department, the owner & manager of the cemetery. They use a card file and map book filing system but there is no on-site help. The office telephone number is 804-541-2295.

|Susan Adkins||Lucy Ann Creasy Graham|
You requested a photo for Lucy in Fair View Cemetery in Roanoke, VA, and the volunteer had problems finding it because the memorial does not say her last name is Graham. I would suggest that you contact the manager of her memorial and have them change that. There is burial information for that cemetery at
If you type Graham in the search box, you will find Lucy Ann.
I just found my Ggrandmother there....

Thank you for taking the time to honor my requests and for also taking the photo of their son's grave. I was not aware was there.

I transfered this memorial to you. Rick was my mom's first cousin. I grew up 2 streets over from him and Judy in Luna Pier. I have been working on my dad's family tree mostly, but have done a little with my mom's side. If you need anything on the Hiteshew family, I would be more than happy to pass on what I have. You can email me at email@example.com

I posted a photo of the stone she shares with her husband and thought you might want to add a memorial for him too. Best Wishes.

I'm happy to transfer this to you. I wish the lighting had been better when I took the picture. probably was taking pictures during my lunch hour and didn't check them until later. If you need a clearer picture, let me know.

i transferred her to you. in the future, if you want to maintain a memorial or add some info to one that someone else has added, go to that page, click on Edit on the right hand side, then click on Suggestion. If you want a transfer all you have to do is put in YOUR fimdagrave# which is at the top of THIS page... up by your name at the very top. thats' it. i know you will enjoy findagrave if you are into history and family. good luck!

|Margaret Gagliardi||RE: Ryder Family at Sunset Hill Cemetery|
Thats because I have all the photos taken. I put them out there when I can, or when someone requests them.
I also added some Johnston stones and females with Johnston in their names. There are some without tombstones, so if one is missing it is because I did not find a stone for them.
