Quick question. On his Find A Grave Memorial, it does not give any dates. Can you give me the phone number to the cemetery office and I can call and ask what dates they have for him in their records?

Thank you.

You are very welcome. I also added Anna who's marker was right next to Sylvester.

Thank you for attempting to search for this headstone. I'm sorry to have put you thru the trouble of looking for it. The memorial was established by someone (not me) and I was just requesting a headstone photo. Someone got the information from somewhere that W. H. was buried there. Or perhaps they just thought there. I may have to write for a death certificate. Mary M.

Thanks so much!
I can't thank you enough for the quick response to my request. William Powell is my 5th great-grandfather who went out to California during the gold rush and never returned.

Reminder for Alice Greenwood
Can you please call the cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) and ask them whether or not there is a grave marker?

Forest Home Cemetery: 708-366-1900 or 773-287-0772

This cemetery will not assist photo volunteers with finding the grave's location and the Find A Grave FAQs (Help File) states it is the photo requestors job to provide this information.

Thank you! Ace

Alice Greenwood
Hi! In regards to your photo request, can you please call the cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) and ask them whether or not there is a grave marker? Please post this information to the memorial or send it to me.

Forest Home Cemetery: 708-366-1900 or 773-287-0772

Forest Home is a huge cemetery with well over 70,000 burials, and the information is needed in order to find someone there and take a photo of a grave. I go here regularly, and since August I have found over 200 graves at Forest Home that had the location information provided. Thank you! Ace

Karen Bryant
Mary E Mace
This Mary may or may not be the one I was seeking. I'm trying to find a Mary E (Bryant) Mace, husband to Henry C Mace. She was born in 1861 in Illinois.
I requested a photo just to see if she might be the one I'm searching for.
I suppose since there is a Thomas listed at this cementery, that she would belong to him.
Thanks for trying to find her though.

Tina Nobriga
RE: Virginia Higuera
Thank you very much for this photo and the info. This Eileen Vandecarr must be a child from Virginia Soto Higuera's second marriage. I never knew of her existence. Thank you! Tina
