You had requested a picture of a headstone for Daniel Dillion. Iv looked back through all my paperwork and I don't have any record of him having a headstone. If you could provide more info about who he might be buried close to I will be happy to check them out.

Hi Arthur--I happened upon Curtis' grave yesterday. It was in a section on the opposite side of the over 100-acre cemetery. I remembered the name, so I took a photo for you. Originally marked as Section H, he is actually in Section W. I have submitted edits to update his page. Merry Christmas, Peggy

I find in the cemetery index a Jackson Dillon with the same dates as this Joel Jackson Dillon buried by Mary Sherman Young Dillon. He is in Block I Row 40 Space 8.

#115606395 - Seaside Memorial Park.
I have searched for Curtis' headstone, Section H, which is the Wishing Well Section. I counted off the plots and went from two different directions and could not find it. It became cold and rainy so I had to stop. I'll try again, but it may be 2015 before I can go again. Do you know if there is a headstone?
Do you know any of the names near him? I did find a grassy area with no headstones that might be his.
I will post a photo of the wishing well that marks Section H. I have not closed your request.

|R.D. Herring||RE: Riley Cemetery Breadcrumbs|
As small as the Riley Cem is, it's easy to get disoriented in its interior because of the thick growth, although the vegetation is mainly this season's shoulder-high plants & brambles. Looking at the square made by the cemetery fence and perimeter trees on the sat map, the walk-in gate is on the north side near the NW corner. When you walk in, the Giesler grave is on your right inside the NW corner.
Starting with Emeline Worley's grave (shown in the interior shot) near the west fence-line, and moving east, the family names are Worley, Harkleroad and Riley, ending (near the SE corner) with the broken marker of Teampea Riley and her three infants. Arry Little was seemingly by herself near the lone tree on the eastern fence-line.
The ground is covered with several year's worth of vines and ivy. We stumbled onto several illegible field stone markers all around the graveyard; I created an "Unknown" Memorial using a picture of the largest. All along the northern fence-line (especially the NE corner) is especially overgrown. There may well be other markers there. I took an exploratory pass through there, but having seen a badger hole near the Giesler grave, I left closer inspection for the wintertime.
The best news is, someone has built an excellent board fence (with wrought iron walk-in gate) that encloses the entire cemetery.

It was our pleasure to visit the Riley Cem. As much as we like documenting for posterity, it's even more fun working with descendants. Glad it all worked out.

Found it with no problems. I did not see any one else in this area, except of course, Laura Lou who shares the same plot.

Yes this information will help greatly. I am very familiar with the mausoleums, but I should be able to locate this if it is marked. I will look for others also. Hopefully I can have something for you this afternoon.

I saw your request for photo. Do you know if he is in a crypt or in the ground? If he is in a crypt, would it be inside the mausoleum or one of the outside mausoleums? I will do my best to locate.

|James Coston||Olga Davlin, Mexia Cem.|
I founder Olga, she was buried beside her husband, Marvin Cogdell.
She is in section II (2). I overlooked her the first time because I "failed" to review her information before I went to the cemetery. So when I saw the Cogdell family stone I just walked right by it.
I went back to check, found her & the fotos that U requested are posted.
My error but it is not taken care of.

I added the monument for Allen and Myrtle Bullion in Delmar, but the address for the cemetery that is listed is wrong.
The correct one is the one that I added in the note, it is on the Delaware side of the Delaware/Maryland line, not Maryland.
I also have a photo of the monument of Michael Bullion, if you would like to have it, just get the site set up, and let me know.

Connected the Dillons as requested. At present I am walking the Keota Cemetery, and just capturing what my camera finds. I will leave it others to make connections or add data.

Arthur, This cemetery has a strict policy and will not give out any info to volunteers and will only give info to family. If you can contact them to get the plot info just reply back with it and I'll be glad to go. Without the info it will be impossible to find them. TKS

I did not find her in section 11. I was 't sure if it ment numeral 2 or roman number XI so I checked both, no luck
I had another name, Storey, listed the same way, and they
Were'nt found either.
Makes me think the listing is incorrect.
I did however find Kathalene in the listed place.
