RE: Mary Gross #158327094
Mary Ann,

I am related to George thru his brother, Chauncy, who would be my great, great grandfather. I do not have sources for you unfortunately. Obtained most of my info a number of years ago from Larry Gross who did a family tree. It's only recently that I have started looking into the family myself. This morning I looked at the death certificate for Ivan Gross (#151692769). It gives his death date as 3/14/1944 so I edited your entry. Also states location as Falls Church, Fairfax County, VA. When I look at Fairfax County on Find A Grave, Falls Church does not appear. Thanks for your prompt attention!

Ann

Mary Gross #158327094
Hi Mary Ann,

I am a Gross descendant and am hoping you can direct me to more info about Mary and husband, James. The son, George (1821-1890), mentioned on the Find A Grave entry for Mary is shown elsewhere as the son of Cyrus and Anne Shippey Gross. Can you help? Thank you! Was unable to leave a private message.

Ann in Elk County, PA

That is ok. We will continue to research. I am glad I found you to be part of my family. I plan to keep in touch with you. I did find where Ralph's Father is interned last week and did get a picture of that.

Do you have a picture of Claudia Gertrude Higgins. I places one out on findagrave.com if you need one. Do you have any pictures?

RE: Jesse Hudson Taylor
I do see her in the 30 but not the 40 censes. I have not heard of her as a member of Jesse Taylor. Jesse did mention a sister that he had said had a mental issue. That means it could not have been the one that died just before her mother. It have been years but he did say she was still alive. I don't think that is the case any longer. The only one I am aware that is alive is Jess Jr. I did not get a Christmas card this year. Not sure if that means anything.

Hello, MaryAnn.. the edit you sent me asks me to remove her parents and add a spouse. I believe the parents are correct. I'm willing to add the spouse, and if you are related, transfer the memorial to you. I inherited the memorial from Findagrave after the original owner became inactive.

Capt. Charles W. Reagan
MaryAnn,

The C. Reagan that you are looking for in Maple Hill Cemetery, Huntsville, Alabama, can not be found as the burial location is unknown, however I did find a obituary for a Charles W. Reagan in the Weekly Mercury Newspaper, Date obituary was published: Wednesday, November 18, 1903
Page: 5, Column: 1.
Almost a year previous, there was a Mrs. T.W. Reagan that passed away, November, 1902.
Both of these obituaries can be found at:http://obits.hmcpl.org/
Just simply enter in the information required.
I'm sorry that I could not provide a marker/headstone picture for you. I am Maple Hill Cemetery's historian, and there is a block of time where burial location just were not recorded the books due to the cemetery growing in size. I wish I could do more.
