I started looking for my grandmother before the internet was available...that proved very difficult and I didn't get very far. Little by little as more info became available on ancestor websites and state databases and census records, we had more successes. We caught the fever with each success. Then we discovered Find A Grave and that really pulled together some disconnected pieces!!! I feel thrilled and very apreciative that complete strangers were willing to get off their couches :) and go find an old grave marker for my relatives many states away. Bless you all. If I can return the favor and make someone's day by photographing a long lost relative's marker, then that makes me happy too. Besides, grave yards are so peaceful! :D
Good luck everyone and don't give up.
