Discrepancy on dates for James H. & Minnie A. Brandon
Michelle: First --- great job on those photographs before I forget. I do both virtual graves for James and both virtual graves for Minnie in a private (non-public) Graves That Can Be Located. This is where I put virtual graves that are burial unknown, burials known not to be at specific cemetery, burials that need to be confirmed, and virtual graves that have been doubled or even tripled for whatever reason. That way when I have time I can go through them. I have a backlog of completed photography requests and some corrections that I need to process --- that includes fixing my own internal database at the same time so I have that documented. (When you don't do this you have stuff from Find A Grave that you don't realize where it came from and that causes problems.)

The graves Vicki created for James & Minnie have some crosslinks in the bio for their children or what a minute yes those are on the virtual grave for their daughter Velma that was created by Teresa so I need to add all of those in my database first. I do have all of the names of James & Minnie's children but that's it just their names. I will get to bottom of the dates issue on James & Minnie. It would appear that I simply have a typo --- I do need to make sure.

Switzer photos
Hi Michelle,

Thanks so much for getting the photos of the Switzer family. That was SO fast! I appreciated the extras. I was not sure where the others were buried. The memorial for Zelma is 114222948, if you also took pictures of her memorial.

There will be more to come. Now sure how fast I will get to them.

Thanks again for all you do for Find A Grave.

re: Fredrick memorials, Elmwood Cemetery
I wanted to let you know that my memorials for the Fredricks are inadvertent duplicates. Anyway I need to delete them from the site. But you have some really nice grave photos on them.

So was wondering if you would transfer the photos to the originals.

I will give you the numbers for each.

Irene Fredrick.

Baxter B. Fite III
Private Abraham Lobaugh, 86th Illinois
Dear Michelle, I can not begin to THANK YOU enough for the time you took and for the pictures that you added of the Civil War tombstone of Private Abraham Lobaugh, who served in the 86th Illinois and whose earthly remains were believed to have been laid to rest in the Elmwood Cemetery in Chanute, Kansas. I had already been told that there was no record of his burial in the cemetery office and that his stone could not be found. I have been searching for the 992 men who served in the 86th Illinois since 1985. I had found 880 to date, but am down to the ones that I know little about and that I may never find. I had this information about Abraham Lobaugh and was hoping that it panned out, but after the first I heard, I was really worried that it was not going to happen. Thanks to your work, WE KNOW where he is buried. With the cemetery office not having a record of his burial and the condition of his stone, in another few years, we may never have known for certain that he was buried there. Now all who search for him on Find A Grave will know for certain where he is buried. This is also another of the many stones that I will never see in person, but, now THANKS TO YOU, I and all who may have an interest will be able to see where Abraham's mortal remains rest. THANKS for what you have done for me, for the Lobaugh family and for FIND A GRAVE. Thanks, too, for all you will yet do for Find A Grave!!! Keep up the GOOD WORK!! It is GREATLY APPRECIATED!! Sincerely, Baxter
