Daniel Lescourt: Aurora Cemetery; Aurora, NE
Your memorial #126774160 is a duplicate of my memorial (#120243441) which was created in Nov. of 2013. Oversights can occur and I would appreciate it if you would remove your memorial. I would be happy to transfer mine to you to oversee if Daniel is a relative. Thank you.

Little Lady
RE: Rhomas Dickson Brown
I am related through Rachel (Moon) Bonner. Her father was Richard Moon. Richard was the son of Simon and Lauretha Lowry Moon. So I guess we are distantly related. Simon and Lauretha are my 6th great grandparents.

I am distantly related. My 4th great grandmother was a Moon. The Browns descended from her. Just looking at all parts of my family for my tree. :)

I read on the memorial where someone said the birth year should be 1832. I was just stating that 1831 was the correct year, if you do the math.

Added death certificates to John and Mary's entries. Contacted owner for multiple updates based on them. I'm not family.

William Hedges
RE: Nancy Jane Perkins Perkins Hedges
My father was William Thomas Hedges, son of Thomas Smith & Lena Crutcher Hedges.

Do you know where the grave of William Henry Hedges is? I have visited Nancy Jane Perkins Hedges' grave at the Perkins-Smith Cemetery,
Rogers Road, but have been unable to locate William Henry's grave.

RE: Maurice Hines
Clive,

It's good to hear from you again. We are still in Bellevue, NE.

I will get some current pictures of my uncle's headstones, and my Aunt Betty's headstone when I am in Missouri on Labor Day and also Bonnie and Linda's headstone pictures. They were Loy and Betty's daughters. Bonnie passed this spring and had 5 boys, she is buried in Eldorado, MO. Linda was, I think 9 years when she passed and is buried in Cody, NE.

If you want to transfer ownership/management for some of the Hines that I am more closely related to, I am okay with that. You're doing a good job.
Thanks & I should be going through Lincoln in a week or two if you want to meet.

V/R

Sam

Heaston Family
I believe that you may be able to help me with some information on the Heaston family. I have been trying to tie Christian Heaston (1817-1889) to his father and family. I think that the Jacob Heaston you have info on is his brother. You list that you have a record showing it?

Per 1910 Census she is the wife of Owen C. Walker, but I find no marriage record.

RE: Ida May Self Stibers
Good possibility that Nannie B. Self is the same person as Anna B. Walker. In 1930 Anna B. Walker is living in Louisville (b ca 1886) as a widow. She has a dau named Louise.

I checked the DC and it looks like Anna B. Walker.
I also noted in the 1900 Census that Ida is listed as a Roberts, not Self but she has an older sibling named Nannie Self. Couldn't find anything more on her. I also tried to find a DC for George Self. Inconclusive.

Do you know if a memorial has been posted for her mother's grave? I have posted your note and would be happy to make the connection to her parents.

Clive,

Wish I had better news to report. I went to Clay Village Cemetery to try and find the headstone. The bad news is that most of the headstones are missing. There are a lot of bases but the headstones are gone. It appears that all remaining headstones have been photographed.

Happy future hunting, would be glad to help you again if you need something in this area.

RE: John Kish
There are no cousins or anyone in the Kish family with the name Lewis, first or middle. There are no cousins at all, because John's parents only came from Kosice, present day Slovakia. All grandparents, cousins, etc were left behind and unknown.

I saw where you had requested a photo of the grave of John Kish. Is there any info about him I can help with, or could we share info? He is my great-grandfather. I can try to get up to the cemetery to take a picture of the headstone soon. Thanks!

Clay Village is actually now considered part of Waddy, Kentucky. I will dig around and see if I can find a cemetery in that area for you but it also might help you in your search. Good luck, sorry I couldn't be of better help!
