Just going thru names in Greenwood cemetery and noticed a dup for this person. Your memorial was created in April and this one in July, the other memorial is 130834279. I haven't notified the other Find A Grave person, thought you might like to do that.

I apologize. I didn't include the cemetery name previously. It is the Casto-Hutton Cemetery.
Thank you.

Do you know if she has a headstone in this cemetery? I was told she does not. I live in Arizona and she is my grandmother. I am desperately trying to find out about a headstone for her.

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

I had to get out of genealogy for awhile and am now trying to catch up.

I hope you were able to find the cemetery since I can not give you directions. I was there once and my mom was driving.

Daniel Webster Greer
Does Daniel Webster Greer born 1836 have a headstone in the Old Ripey Cemetery? Because I couldn't find one but am not sure.
Thank you.

Re: Elwood Phillips
Thank you for transferring his and his wife, Virginia C. Clark's memorial to me. I had found a death certificate for Elwood saying he was buried in Washington Cemetery in Washington Co., Penn. However, I do not find a death certificate for Virginia in Penn. You also have William Herbert Hale #140537000 he was a grandson of Elwood and Virginia. Could you also transfer his to me? I think he died in West Virginia also. Joanne

Phillips information
Thank you for your reply. I can use that as a source for now but I will try to find his death certificate, most certainly. Also, thank you for transcribing all of those records. It has been, I am sure, a wonderful source for everyone to use.

Ellwood Phillips and Virginia Clark
Hello Tereasa! I saw that you created a memorial for my gg grandparents, Elwood Phillips and Virginia C. Clark. Thank you so much. I noticed on Virginia's information it states, "Daughter of Baylor and Frances Clark." I had seen this information on other family trees but I cannot find any documentation. I wondered if you might have the documentation for this. Any leads on the Clarks would be greatly appreciated. I've been looking for 20 years and cannot find them! Thanks for your help. -Louise-

Elwood Phillips # 140536927
Hello Tereasa, Thank you for making the memorials. I have sent you some information about Elwood. As you can see he lived a long life. He moved to Pennsylvania to be with two of his sons. He died there and according to the death certificate was buried there. But they must have sent him back to be with Virginia. Do you have any pictures of the stones? If you are not related to Elwood or Virginia, would you transfer the memorials to me. His father was a brother to my 2nd great-grandmother. Joanne

Hi Teresa!

I have been looking far and wide for this relative of mine. He was quite a character. He changed his name and fled the state of California to start a new life for himself. Boy are the stories of his past exciting and fun to hear. I wish I could have learned more while the Grandmas and Great Grandmas were alive to talk, but they kept quiet about this family member. I only knew him as "The Black Sheep of The Family."

I would love it if you would be willing to transfer the care of Hal's memorial (Hannigan Cicero O'Dell to be exact) to me so that I can take care of adding photos and link him to his family where he belongs.

Thank you so much.

Oh my! You are even closer the 2x grand parents. Holly is her great grandfather, too. Her grandfather was Wilbur, though. She's going to call me this evening. Her mother was Roseetta, Wilbur's daughter.

How would be the best way for her to contact you?

RE: Susan Staats Campbell
I expect she would. I will ask her. She doesn't do a lot of genealogy herself, but she is very interested in family and I'm sure she will love it when I tell her I found a new cousin for her. :)

No problem. I'm not related to this Staats family myself (I don't think). I just acquired a new daughter-in-law and this is her family. Susan's brother, Adam, was her 2x great grandfather.

I just figured out the problem. The gravestone listed the father, and then his whole family, but they were never buried there. They moved to Richmond, Virginia.

Rodney James Marques died 27 Nov 1985 and his gravestone is at Independence Christian Church
Ashland, Virginia, United States. http://billiongraves.com/pages/record/RODNEY-JAMES-MARQUES/3959496#given_names=RODNEY&family_names=MARQUES

Carolyn Marques Lloyd (she married again) died 16 Aug 1996 and was buried in Glen Allen, Henrico, Virginia next to Rodney at Independence Christian Church, Ashland, Virginia. http://billiongraves.com/pages/record/Carolyn-Lloyd-Marques/4111003#given_names=Carolyn&family_names=Marques

Hilton Gregory Marques was born 16 February 1967 and is still alive, and not a twin of Rodney.

Hope that helps!

Hi! You have a gravesite for my husband listed on Find a Grave, here: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=143697841&ref=acom

He's still alive. He knows of no "infant twin" of his brother with the same name that he was given a few years later. His father, mother and brother have all died. Maybe he has a gravesite waiting for him there? Is there any way you could take a picture of this grave?

Thank you!

Pam, (Hilton Gregory Marques's wife)

Casto Fisher cemetery cont'd.
The names Casto and Fisher are so common in Jackson County that I'm certain there has to be another one. I was just down at the cemetery doing some grass cutting today and there are none of the newly added names in this cemetery. There must be another one someplace else. Could you provide me with the source of your list that you're transcribing?
