Grew up in Texas going to family reunions in Mason, TX, living in San Antonio, TX until I joined the Army as a computer operator. Had a lot of jobs after I got out, now I do loads of volunteer work when not working on genealogy. I am on the board of my neighborhood association, our county Citizen Corps Council, American Legion Post 2 in Tacoma, WA, and Lakewood United (a speakers forum).
