RE: RE:Breckinridge/Brackenridge
Yes I realize that relationship Jeanne, I stated it in my previous message. I was just trying to help you spot the burials in that county that have a variant spelling and/or are buried in different cemeteries. As soon as the duplicated memorial for William, father of Hugh are corrected I will attach Hugh to his father.

RE: Rebecca Breckinridge
Ok, I see that someone has already created a memorial for Rebecca with the spelling Brackenridge. It is memorial #55859993. So you would not want to create a memorial for her. There is also an older William and Jane Brackenridge listed on one stone together in a different cemetery in Mercer Co, PA. Online comments indicate this would be the parents of William Breckinridge and grandparents of Hugh.

RE:Breckinridge
Jeanne, I live in Illinois not far from the grave of Hugh Breckinridge but I had no personal knowledge of his parents burial in Pennsylvania. I simply added a bunch of memorials from a cemetery in my area. When I am sent an edit I tend to try and double check to see if I can easily verify the suggested edits. I then caught that William Breckinridge's grave has been duplicated. One memorial created by a person named Bonnie in 2010 who evidently could not read the stone and therefore did not add any dates or the first name. The second memorial was created by a person named Mary in 2012 and it had the correct info. Technically according to Find A Grave guidelines, the memorial made in 2010 should have the correct edits added to it and the one made in 2012 should be deleted as it is a duplicate of the first memorial. Both pictures can be read in my opinion and they only list one name, that of William Breckinridge. Neither pictures has his wife's name on the stone.

As far as adding new memorials for his wife and daughter I would suggest you do so IF you know for a fact they are also buried there. Then you could request a photo and perhaps someone will be able to contribute photos for them.

Hugh Breckinridge
Thank you for your edit suggestion to link Hugh Breckinridge to parents. If you look closely the memorials of the parents are actually two different memorials for the same man. One memorial doesn't have the dates or a first name and the other has the dates for William Breckinridge. It is the same grave marker on both memorials.

RE: Thank you
I'm sorry I couldn't get a better photo, the stone is a very light grey and the inscribed information is the same color. I tried it in sun and shadow and the image I posted is the best I could obtain.

Thomas Everett
Hello,

Per your request, I linked Thomas to his parents, Honora and William.

You may have already known this, but Thomas perished in a train accident. According to the Darien, CT ledger, "Killed cars New York, New Haven & Hartford" - Darien Town Hall Death Record. Another young man died the same day in the same way but I cannot find my notes to indicate who it was.

Best regards,
Susan

GEORGE FRAZIER WOOD
HI JEANNE:

ON ANCESTRY.COM, I AM SHOWING THE FATHER OF GEORGE AS " WILLIAM JAMES WOOD (1867-1935)") AND HIS MOTHER AS "NELLIE BEULAH LAPHAM (OCT. 20, 1874-1947)". THIS IS FROM INFORMATION THAT CAME UP ON ANCESTRY.COM AND "IS NOT CONFIRMED". ALSO SHOWING GEORGE HAD A BROTHER, RICHARD LAPHAM WOOD, BUT DO NOT KNOW SO FAR IF THIS IS CORRECT. RICHARD SHOWS TO HAVE DIED IN 1905, BUT I HAVE NO BIRTH YEAR. FROM THE DATES OF PARENTS, RICHARD WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN VERY OLD.

HENRIETTA COLLINS WOOD IS RELATED THRU OUR ROBERTS FAMILY, WELTHA ANN ROBERTS. WELTHA ANN ROBERTS COLLINS MARRIED HENRY CLAY COLLINS AND IS THE MOTHER OF HORACE PORTER COLLINS, SR. HORACE IS THE FATHER OF HENRIETTA COLLINS.

IF YOU FIND NEW INFORMATION, LET ME KNOW AND I WILL CORRECT ON ANCESTRY.COM.

HOPE THIS HELPS SOME.

CHARLIE, TULSA, OK.
