|sue ford||JOhn G. Gibson 1868-1944|
HI Mike. I am hoping you can help me with some family that i have.
David Gibson, father of John C. Gibson, who married 2nd Elizabeth Bowling Begley in 1895. Elizabeth is my daughter's great, great, great grandmother.
Do you have any idea where Elizabeth is buried or could find out?
I have written down all the info for DAvid Gibson born 1839 Va. and died 1910 Clay Co KY I think Eliz. died c 1900.
I am very curious about Seatta Bowling. I have a Seatta Davidson who married 1st Jesse Gay and then she married Andrew J. Hensley in 1878.
and Andrew is a sister to Mary/Polly Hensley who was David Gibson's lst wife,
Andrew and Seatta have a daughter, Ibby Hensley who married Felix Bowling born 1876 and Felix is the son of Elizabeth Bowling Begley who married David Gibson.
I have really been working on Elizabeth's family. What i find here at findagrave can sort some of this family out. Any more help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Sue

Hi Mike and thanks for the photos of the Comley headstone. May I have your permission to add them to my tree on Ancestry? You have photographed the stones of many of my ancestors (Comley, Hurt, etc.) and I'd like to post them to my tree to share with others.
Thanks so much,

|DebbieK||Reuben & Phoebe J (MILLS) KINDER gravestone pics|
Phoebe is my first cousin twice removed.
She was married twice. The last marriage was to Reuben Kinder. I thought I would ask if it is ok to download their headstone pictures you have. I also would like to let you know that their connection isn't listed on your Find A Grave information for them. This is just FYI that I noticed, as I have just started investigating the "Mills" line in Knox County, Kentucky. If I can do anything to help you with your line, let me know. Have a nice day :)

Thanks so much for the very fast edit!
I really appreciate the work you're doing here. I've found many photos of yours for cousin & relatives of mine and am so glad to see them.
I was wondering if it would be okay to post relevant gravestone photos of yours to my online family tree, if I credit you for them? I understand if not, but thought it doesn't hurt to ask! :)
Thanks & blessings,

You posted an obit for a John Shelton in Grays Cemetery in Grays, Kentucky. I believe he may be my grandfather. I have almost no information on him but what I do have seems to fit. He was totally estranged from my father whom I never met. My half-brother is looking for our grandfather's burial site. There is no other information on the Find A Grave website. Can you find out who requested it or some type of information where I can get in touch with them? Or, they can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you. Kathleen Grimm

|Jo Gentry||Jessie F Tatum Gabbard|
I believe your memorial created in 2016 is a duplicate memorial for Jessie Gabbard. See below. Also, the year she died is unclear in your photo. Records show she died in 1946, and on closer scrutiny of the date on the headstone photo, it could be 1946, not 1945. I believe you have the correct spelling for Tatem based on Social Security records.

I see that there are quite a few pictures of the same angle on this memorial. Would you be so kind as to remove at least one of the roadside shots ( I am not sure how many were yours)...She is a g g grandmother of my step mother. Thank you

|John Stevens||Cleo Campbell Memorial|
First I want to thank you for the fine work you and others do on this site. If you do not mind, I would like to point out an error found in your memorial for:
Cleo Marie ellsworth Campbell (1913 - 2008)
Aunt Cleo was not an Ellsworth. She was my mother's half sister by an earlier marriage. Should you require additional info, please feel free to email me at email@example.com. I will provide whatever proof or information you require concerning Cleo's memorial.

Mike can you tell me when you take a picture of an old stone do you photo shop it to try and make it look as new as possible.My grandparents are buried in the Indian Creek Cemetery Chance Cemetery their names are John Johnny Wynn and Nancy Wynn.And an uncle Canner Wynn I seen where a picture was posted in 2006 by someone else it looks old and should. I also seen where you up dated it in 2016 it look new it looks like the stones may have been replaced and I cannot find a family member who may have done it.And if it has been would love to thank them.Thanks Betty

Mike, I would just like to say thank you for all the photographs that you have taken and posted to Find A Grave. I would not have been able to see them without all your hard work, and I do know how hard you have to work to get them.
