Ceola Sabre Franklin Scott
Hi, I hope you and family are well. We are doing well. Working too hard for our age. lol
I don't know how this happened with the two memorials with different spellings. That was back when I had the job I loved where I could work on this all day. About that time I was entering 60- 75 photos a day. You will notice the photo is on the one with the correct spelling.I will delete the other one. Thank you for catching that.
I hope your husband is doing better.
Have a blessed evening.

Henry and Celia Carter Scott Descendants
I noticed that you left a message a while back on Henry Kay Scott's Find A Grave memorial (19100705) inquiring about his and Celia Carter's children. There is a list of their children (most of them) and other descendants on the AlGenWeb website for Henry County, Alabama. The page address is You can copy and paste the page address into your web browser to pull the page up.

Glad to put the Skipper folks under your umbrella. I don't know them from Adam and got them in a mass transfer from Find A Grave. Glad you are willing to adopt them. :)

RE: Teter family
No, I'm not related, and hope I don't step on toes by sending these edits. It's a sort of hobby to find these old obits and put families together. And especially if some by-gone happening is mentioned in the obit--Civil War veterans, runaway horses, train accidents, old automobiles, anything of an historical nature.

Martin United Methodist Cemetery
Hello there! I was just at this cemetery earlier this month and found maybe 8 or so headstones. Just wondering if you knew of some that had been moved elsewhere? My direct ancestors are the Eckarts & Bauers. They were still in that cemetery but we are searching for a baby named Ivan Eckart born between 1921-Sept 1923. He was the son of Herbert & Amelia Wessner Eckart and lived for just a few hours or couple of days. We are not sure exactly how long he lived. Any info or direction you can send me would be great. Thanks,

Hi Skipper's girl,

I found some info for Hester Jewell Medley. Her maiden name is actually 'Bray'.

She is the d/o Ezekiel Francis Bray and Eveline Black. She was born June 1888 in Jackson Co GA. She married Ed Medley in Jackson Co on 12/8/1902 (I've attached their marriage certificate).

I've linked her to her parents and updated her info.

Below are death records for 2 children who died as infants.

1921 Death of child

1928 Death of child

Thank you!

Samuel John Parker Sr.
RE: Hello Cousin
My Aunt Rachael, is your husband's 2nd cousin. She lives outside of Butler, in Samuel John Boykin Jr's old house (her Dad). It is right down the hill from Samuel John Boykin's house. He built that house himself and it is still there. I went in it about a month ago. I will send you some of the pics from his house, on facebook.

Birth 5 OCT 1956 Alabama

Hi Ann,
No I didn't know Lila. Her husband is my 4th cousin 2X removed.
I took photos of the entire cemetery a couple of years ago.
Did you know them? Do you want the memorial?

Have a blessed day.

RE: Robert C Kemp
I don't know where Robert Kemp is buried, and of course I don't know that this is "the" Robert Kemp. But I don't see another Robert Kemp in other censuses that could be the one in Oregon.

This genealogy stuff is so fun. And so weird. I just found a woman who married her daughter's brother-in-law (daughter's husband's brother). Then she married another daughter's brother-in-law. (Four marriages.) I don't think I can even draw a picture of that one.
