Glad I was able to take the photo. I have to admit, I almost missed her marker, it is close to the edge of the cemetery.

You are most welcome..the cemetery is a mess..for years it has been neglected and it is in the middle of a 300 acre farm..and cows busted a lot of the stones..but Tracie Flack got a court order to get access and has put a fence around up dug up stones from the ground and fixed broken ones.
Still needs a lot of work but so much better than it was..my husbands 3 great grandparents are Robert Miller Patton ,Margaret Level Patton..if I remember correctly you are also kin thru Burdettes..Robert Miller Burdette is also great grandfather..
This was our 2nd time going to Lewisburg,WV..i must say I love it there..so beautiful and peaceful..would be a good retirement place..
Blessings,Kay

RE: Robert Marion Miller
Bob,

Thank you for your note as well - it is great to connect with you. I think there may be a common consensus that Robert's middle name was Marion (which was carried forward to his son, Marion Luther), but I don't recall whether I have come across a confirming document and his name may have just been Robert Miller. I am most stumped by the location of his wife, Susan's grave - one would assume that Robert would have been buried near her; however, its my understanding that she may have passed away in Williamson County (or possibly Bell County).

John Henry Miller moved east to West Virginia and settled there in the 1880s and married Kathleen "Katie" Harris. Their daughter, Ruth Evelyn Miller, was my great-grandmother. She married Sherman Avis (who is buried at Ft. Bliss, TX). Their daughter, Mary Miller Avis, married Richard T. Dorn, and their son, Terrell, is my father.

Hi Bob,

Are you related to Robert Marion Miller (#62672198)? I am a direct descendant of his and Susan Jane Nickell's youngest son, John Henry Miller.

Regards,

Jason

The 1902 you see on his marker is just the site number for his headstone.

Robert,
I also have a tree on Ancestry that I added the Broad run pictures to..i believe I saw your tree on there as well..i may have said something about not leaving my name on the picture..as the person that took the photo..i just realized that it was you..and you took it from Find A Grave..so disregard that note..if that's your tree..

I have my tree under Karen Herndon Foglesong..
but Find A Grave I use Kay a nickname that I go by..

Best,Kay

Bob, sorry it's taken so long for me to reply. I will go back and delete the Miller information I had included with Sydney. I will learn to look more closely at dates before I submit the information in my profiles.

Thanks so much.

James Owen Miller Re: Syndey Jane Nickell Drummond Miller

Hi, If you get this message please reply.
Sydney is my 3rd Great Grandmother on my father's Father's Mother's side of the family.
(Foster, Musselman, Nickell and Drummond).
I am just realizing and finding information that Sydney was married to James O. Miller after her marriage to Drummond. I note that there were children born to Sydney and James.
Sydney is buried in the Auberry Grove/ Hays (Hayes) Cemetery in Jamesport - Daviess County, Missouri.

Sydney's memorial on this site is:
# 91834234 my memorial.
Another memorial: # 74688947

Thanks,
Candice Linney Foster Tucker

Of course she will be remembered. I thought this was "FIND" a grave for those graves that are missing. My parents' graves are fully marked in St. Philip's Graveyard and are not missing. No dis -respect but I still don't understand the posting.
