The Old cemetery in saint clair is in really bad shape hardly any tombstones, the one in New Philadelphia is in better shape.

I came from a single parent family and the local library was my favorite place.

Thank you for posting Margorie Creger's portrait, Carrie! I have a very small one for her daughter, Dorothy, but if you have a better one, can you please post it? Maybe one of Floyd Creger, too?!

I have corrected her date if death as Jan 2-1892 in New Philadelphia. I have seen many incorrect dates on tombstones .

Carrie - I accepted your edit for William, then realized there are two Williams; one married to Imogene Wood, the other to Elizabeth Coolbaugh. William F. was born in 1872 and was not married to Elizabeth Coolbaugh who was born in 1851. Elizabeth was married to William (born 1848) and 2nd to Frank Montanye (born 1842). ~Nan

From her Delaware death certificate, it looks like Nannie was buried in Buena Vista City, Virginia. Not sure which cemetery.

Thank you very much for the birth and death info. I was banging my head on the wall every time I went back at it to find her information and never did. Jacki

|J.G.B.||RE: Buri Family|
I was curious as to Beury vs. Buri is all.
As to Frogtown, I'm not entirely sure but think it somewhere in between the Lavelle/Mowry areas of Citizen & Sunnyside cems down through the "Hollow" on Creek Rd. which runs length of Little Mahanoy Creek to Taylorsville area near Bickle-Reed cem. I could be wrong but could ask about. You'd have to map it as I can think of 4-5 Twp. & private roads run circles through there. Creek is accessed from High/Upper Rd. of Lavelle running through to Helfenstein before you get to the Helf Mt. rd., which goes into Pitman. Off High/Upper Rd. near Helfenstein once you get onto Creek it becomes private owned partially dirt-rock-some paved road through to the bridge at Bickle/Reed cem. (It has been known to flood out bad on either end). Everything up to Rt. 901 from the bridge or back into Lavelle or Taylorsville, Weishample, and over the Taylorsville Mt. into Pitman is various Twps. Butler, maybe Eldred. There's a golf course in between the hollow & Lavelle. There are some homes down in sections of the hollow, some in Taylorsville closer to 901 and back down through into Weishample/Mabel. Some homes on the Taylorsville mt. and bottom of the Helf but these are mostly SFL-SGL. I haven't answered your question but it's the area layout for maybe 5-6 miles around what is known as the hollow. There may have been a church in the area of Bickel cem at some point. That's as good a guess as any until I ask a few older than I, lol.

|Bob Birmingham||RE: Starview Cemetery, Off of Codorus Furnace Rd.|
Starview Cemetery is indeed the one between the trailer park and Codorus Furnace Road. The Starview Union Cemetery property actually extends out to Codorus Furnace Road almost directly across from Rt. 24, between the property at 4611 N. Sherman Street and 10 Codorus Furnace Road.

|Heather||Presbyterian Chapel Cemetery|
It is on Snydertown Road. Next to Victory Bible Church there is a small road between a house and the church called Laurel Rd. I believe. The cemetery is in the trees between the two buildings. I could see it from the road driving slow.....it's very small.
Hope this helps.

|J.G.B.||Just a hey...|
The country store across the road from Church of God Cemetery was called "The Country Store". Now how could that escape my memory, lol?! Anyway, it's your top photo for cem from back to front that shows it.

Thank you for the obituary and for trying to find Maria's headstone. I have noted her memorial that no headstone was found. Have a wonderful Memorial weekend and God Bless You for the work you do on F/G.
