Helen Marie-Wilder Raymond
She's buried in Mt. Auburn Cem. if you would like to make a memorial for her and then you and link everyone.

I found her using that mt. auburn search tool I mentioned 2 messages ago:

http://mountauburn.org/map/

She was buried 8/27/1856.

Later,
Ryan

p.s............
How are you related to all these Raymonds anyhow? Are you a descendant of Thatcher Rich Raymond?

Just wondering. We'd be cousins then.

Jane (Bartlet) Raymond
Hi Michael,

Jane is buried in Mt. Auburn Cem. in Cambridge. The other memorial has a picture of her parents' family stone in her hometown of Plymouth, Mass. The monument there lists all of their children. Jane is not interred there. I just double checked the Mt. Auburn website: http://mountauburn.org/map/ and she was interred in Cambridge on 2/12/1875.

Later,
Ryan

RE: Emma Adelaide (Hill) Raymond & Fred Spring Raymond

Hello Michael,

Plainfield is also a township in Kent County...the same county in which Grand Rapids is located.

Emma Adelaide (Hill) Raymond & Fred Spring Raymond

Hello Michael,

I noticed you submitted some change requests on the Raymond family. One, for Emma Adelaide (Hill) Raymond, was that she was born in Iosco County. Her marriage record to Silas H. Raymond states she was born in Plainfield, Michigan, so I'm wondering where you found the source for Iosco County?

The other request is for a name change of Fred Spring Raymond to Edward Spring with Fred as a nickname. Since Fred's gravestone gives his initials as F.S.R., I'm wondering about the source for this name change request. I'm asking this because Fred Spring Raymond (1885-1889) had a brother, Edward S. Raymond (1891-1974).

My personal interest in all of this is that where the Raymonds intersect with the Springs, it becomes my family, as well. Hence, my vested interest in knowing the source of these request changes.

Thank you, Michael, for any information and clarity you can give me.

Best Regards,

Mike Cronk

Frederick and the wives
Could you send me their numbers and any children that might be involved and I will get them to you. As I recall I have transferred to you before. j

I don't think D-Part is involved any more, he has a few duplicates of my stuff, but will get to it in time.

Hi Michael, I've added the information that you provided to Kathryn's memorial. Thank you. However, if she is a relative of yours, I'd be happy to transfer her to you. She is not a member of my family. Regards, Nadeen

RE: Edwin Mitchell
Hi Michael,
Always worry that I will offend someone with the edits, so thank you for being very gracious! Have duplicates of my own sometimes and like to clear them up if I spot them.
I spent some time in Dixfield, ME this summer and took as many photos as I could for the day, so there might be a few more edits to field. I hope I do not make you dread seeing the edit tab. If they are too much, just let me know. Having the memorials already there makes my task so much easier, and for that I am grateful to you for all your hard work.
And, on a side note, I think they SHOULD turn over the land to you....it is your name after all! ;)
Gail

RE: Warren Smart
Hi, Michael,

Several years ago you were kind enough to write me a summary of your knowledge of Matilda Raymond's Smart family tree. At the time you noted that there were actually three(!) Warren Smarts that you needed to track down--her husband, her son, and a son from her husband's second marriage.

Her son is buried in San Augustine National Cemetery and the US Veterans' Affairs created the memorial. They have also now made the link!

So, my message to you was just an fyi--nothing that you need to do. :-)

I still think that her husband may be related to my mystery ancestor, so from time to time I do another search to see if I can learn anything new.

Hope you are well,
Flutterby

With updating info it appears some of the memorials that I transferred to you doubled. When you find the doubles, transfer one back and I can delete it.

Glad I could help. :-)

Clarissa Raymond
Hi. On the Clarissa Raymond page it says that Portus Savage married Emily Raymond in 1865. I think this is her (Emily) death date. I have their marriage date at December 3, 1832.

Thank you.
