|James Blodgett||RE: Gardius (Sardius) Blodgett|
So are you a descendant of which child from Sardius and Mary Blodgett: Mary, Rufus, or Calvin?

|James Blodgett||Gardius (Sardius) Blodgett|
I saw your request for transfer of the memorials from Frank Passic for Gardius (Sardius) Blodgett and his wife Mary at the Marengo memorial Cemetery in Calhoun County, Michigan. Prior to the transfer, I requested that Frank ok some edits based on some information I obtained from "The Ten Generations of Blodgetts in America." I see that Sardius Blodgett would be related to me as a forth cousin. You indicated to Frank that he would be your third great grandfather. The Civil War flagholder next to his gravestone is somewhat suspect since he was in his 70's when he died in the 1860's. I would like to think that this marker was intended for his daughter Mary's husband Gilbert Rowe who died in 1865 for which there is no creditable gravestone. The Gilbert Rowe in question may have fought in the 29th Ohio Infantry, but I really need more information. I can provide additional information on the Blodgett side if you like.

On their listings, click on "EDIT" tab in the upper right top. then click on "make suggestions or comments". Then write in the box "please transfer to me I'm related." Click submit. An email with a direct link will be then sent to me with that particular person and I can click directly to transfer with your findagrave number which will appear on the e-mail.

I'm sorry I cannot locate the information for placing her burial at the St. Joseph City Cemetery. I have transferred her memorial to you and you may want to change it to "burial location unknown" if that is your preference. I found the records indicating that her husband, Stillman Wood, is buried there, however.

I am trying to find information on Anna L. Smith, Stanley, Rosenworth 1st wife of James Stephen Stanley. She was d/o Harmon B. Smith and Mary Jane Babcock. Mary Jane was sister of my great grandfather Henry Truman Babcock.
James and Anna married 4 Oct. 1894 Aetna, Newaygo Co., MI. They divorced May 21 1902. She married @1903 Andrew Rosenworth of Emmett Co., MI? She died 29 Sep. 1904 MI.
Any information to share? I think Andrew Rosenworth went to the State of Washington. German ancestory-Lumberman.

Thank you, Kay. I am "zeroing" in on sister Rosetta Viola Babcock, Mattson, Gilbert, McCoy, Hernes now.
Rosette V. McCoy is buried in Muskegon, MI.
Seeking Death certificates and then will go for
her obituary. Just ordered her Death Certificate from Muskegon Co., MI. and waiting.
Lottie, Mabel D., May Babcock was
the 1st cousin of my grandmother. I don't remember
my grandmother talking about her Uncle Taylor and Aunt Clarissa Babcock. My mother told me their
names. She probably did since she lived with us in late 1940's and early 1950's and as a kid I didn't remember.
I appreciate your help.

I don't know if I had sent a picture of George H. Stanley of Newaygo Co., MI., that was in my grandmother's photo album?
Just got his Death Certificate. Please see his
memorial in Find A Grave.com. Son of James Stanley and Anna Cooper. Married to Mabel D. "May" Babcock my grandmother's 1st cousin.
I think she must have divorced George H. Stanley
but no record of Divorce in Newaygo County, MI.
I would like to find her after 1900. Remarried?

|Barbara Haines||Thomas, s/o Dr. James Bennett|
Kay, I created a memorial for Thomas Bennett after finding a 1909 memorial to him printed in the Corydon Democrat. I have just found his original death notice and updated his memorial; then went looking for his father. Went ahead and transferred him to you as I'm not related. Sometimes these old spirits just want to be "found" and reunited with their loved ones...

Thanks. We do sort of the same thing. We go into a cemetery, one that is already listed on F.A.G. or a completely new one, and photograph ALL the stones (jotting down what it says if we're not sure the photo will have it - sometimes even "reading" it with our fingers). I put in a few obits if the cemetery is listed, etc.

Is David A Stanley in Mt Morris Cemetery #95578217 the son of Anne Cooper & James Stanley? His brothers would have been James Stephen buried in Maple Grove Cemetery and Charles.
In my Ancestry.com tree I have David A's bith as July 1872 in England.
Please let me. I don't want to assume!

Kay: How do you get the obituaries you post to be so exact in size. Is it a process of digital photography. I usually retype the obit but it might be so much quicker the way you do it. I like the way they look and would like to learn how it is done. If you care to e-mail me you can do so at email@example.com Bill

Who knows what motivates strange whackos?
Why would anyone care about keeping none family (which could even include in-laws) in their virtual cemetery? Regardless of guidelines. I think the guidelines are more for other family members who cross bloodlines. I could be wrong?
Why would anyone want to maintain 100,000 graves of people they have no family or emotional ties to? And do a ****poor job in doing so. No family relationships (even on headstones that share the 2 names of a husband and a wife... jeez that one isn't too hard to figure out) No pictures. No complete dates. And no biographies.
What is the attraction?
I guess it takes all Kinds?
Jackie & Ralph are just one or 2 of those kinds.
Probably what happened is: They didn't get a transfer of a family member, who didn't fall within the guidelines, from a some jerk. So they decided to pass it on and follow suit.
Or, they're just hoarders buried alive.
