Betsy Ross
You may want to look in my tree, I have some information on her family.

I have her under Elizabeth Griscom that was her real name until she married John Ross, he always called her Betsy. She and John Ross never had kids.

Her last and 3rd husband was John Claypoole and he is in my family tree.

Thanks so much for the photo of Warren and Donna's gravestone. I'm anxiously waiting for all of our snow to disappear; I am also a Find A Grave photo volunteer. I'm afraid that we have lots and lots of winter yet to come here in ND. Thanks again.

Linebaugh photos
Thank you so much for the James Harold and Priscilla Linebaugh grave marker photos. Priscilla was my cousin. Her mother was a sister to my mother. I've worked diligently to add obits to my ancestors and the photo helps for future generations who can't visit the cemetery site.

RE: Alice Arrowood
I do not believe I am related. About 4 years ago I spent a week in the Gallia/Meigs/Jackson area researching my James Price ancestor. Since I had been told he spent all his life on the same farm in Raccoon Twp, I combed through many cemetery records done by the local historical society on Gallia County cemeteries - copying many of them - and adding them to Findagrave when I returned home. After a week of no luck finding my elusive ancestor I was on my way north and got a lead while at an Athens library that sent me back to Jackson County and found not only James, but his brother & family and his parents - all buried in Jackson County. So much for family lore! Turned out the Price family were early land owners in Jackson County and the Price farm was in both Jackson & Gallia counties. It must have been easier to go to Jackson than Galliopolis because even my grandfather's birth was recorded at Jackson but listed as being born in Raccoon Twp, Gallia County. Guess it pays to look at surrounding counties.

Transfers made! Always happy to put memorials with families. I am not related (but there was a Whalen family that lived diagonal from where I grew up in far north Columbus.

I took the pics while fulfilling requests at St. Joes... Nice pink granite markers that were standing out after a rain.
