Do you have an exact birth year for John? I prefer to put estimated dates into the bio field.

Sorry Deanna, I do have Rollers and Hawkins in my line, but I do not know how they tie into each other.

Hi Deanna,

You asked me to link this gentleman to two people who may be his parents. I would like to know the source of your information.

While I am an Ancestry subscriber, I simply don't have time to search through online trees for the sources of all the edit requests I receive. Maybe after I retire...

All my Polish records are from the Family History Library. Frances Baptismal record is at Owinska.
Her parents Karl ( aliasCarolus Charles)Jankowski and her mother Agnes Jozwiak were married in Owinska in 1851. Caroline

RE: Alexandra Milewski Grave
Hi Deanna, you're welcome. I do not remember the grave location, but you can call the office of the cemetery ahead of time and they will tell you, or if you will be visiting during office hours there is a kiosk in the lobby which searches for a name and gives the grave location.

Hi Deanna-I checked the records at St Adalbert and for all of the Chicago Archdiocese and the only Joseph Wisniewski close to 1954 is a Joseph P. Wisniewski who was interred on 10/7/52 at 71 years of age in St Adalberts in Section 6, Block E, Lot North 1/2 of 29. Could that be him?...Mary

Hi Deanna-We've had a break in the weather and I hope I can back to St Adalbert's on Friday before we get snow again. I'll check for Joseph and let you know. The database that is available at the cemeteries can be tightened down to the cemetery you are at or for all Chicago Archdiocese cemeteries. The last name is going to make for a long list to check but if he's not at St Adalbert's I'll check the full database....Mary

RE: Barkmans in Erie
I added the other three photos. I don't know the source for alternate parents for David Barkman. It is not on the tombstone itself. You will have to ask the manager of his memorial where she got it.

Did you know you can make edit suggestions and links for any memorial? No transfer required. Click the edit button at the top right of the memorial page and there is a list of possible edits for name, dates, relationships. The corrections will go to the manager who can accept (or reject) with just a click. For example, I sent you an edit to link Janette to her parents. There should be a notification at the edit button at the top of your home page.

Barkmans in Erie
In addition to the ones I added, I also have photos for Frederick Barkman Jr (1848-1920), Howard Barkman (1907-1992) and Everett's wife Janette Pfundstein Barkman (1900-1986) and will be glad to post them if you would create the memorials. Just let me know.

Looks like the stone is fairly new so I'm guessing it was added after 1972 so wasn't in my records when I looked last night. Glad that is taken care if, enjoy your research.

Looking this morning I see Kingsley has a picture I took some time back with Mack. Did you see that?

RE: Roy Matthews Headstone
If it was Martha and Christine than not nearby, they are in a completely different area from Roy I just always look at all the ones with same last name when I make the trip. I show no record for you Kingsley, but my records show an O. C. Mack d. 17-April-32 but is in an UMG so no stone, no record of wife Mildred. I also checked the other cemetery records and find nothing, sorry.

Found a few more Matthews while out there and posted pictures, you might want to check in case they are yours also.

RE: William and Katherine Howard
I am not related in any way. I created the memorial based on the sexton's records for Fairmount cemetery. The information provided on Katherine's memorial was sent to me by another contributor by the name of Dale Vickman.

RE: Joseph and Anna Milewski
Hi Deanna, I have not looked for Wisniewski. If you are unsure as to burial place you may call St. Adalbert's office and they will look for Wisniewski. Cemetery's number is 847-647-9845. They also might be able to search for Wisniewski at other catholic cemeteries in the area.

RE: Martha Ann Allen headstone
Hi Deanna: You're very welcome. Sorry I could get it any cleaner, but it was partially buried with mud and debris and since it was in such a deep depressed area pouring water on the stone to scrub it would have just made more mud. I really like to clean the stone a lot better than I could on Martha. Chris

Nowaczyk Photo
Hello, Today I posted a photo for Antony Nowazck. At the site I found Maryanna d. 1903 next to him. Her name is also on the red granite monument. There is also another name on the red marker Tomacz Cieslik 1862-1897. If you create the memorials I will post the photos. Looks like this might answer some questions for you.

RE: Victor and Bonnie Howard
Hey, cool!!! I didn't know because of the variance in name spelling. Altho the stones don't have the DODs, Ellen's date of burial was 11-3-2000 and Wally's was 5-2-1977. I'm so happy to have found some folks you were looking for. :-)

RE: Victor and Bonnie Howard
You're welcome, my pleasure. Next to the Howards' gravestone is one for Ralph and Ellen Breese. Are they anyone you are looking for--or maybe the similar name is just a coincidence.
