Thank you for taking the time to take the photo and put it on this site. Now I have to see if the name & dates match one of my GALE ancestors.

RE: Joseph McFarlane
You are welcome to use the photograph of Joseph McFarlane's grave marker. I don't have any pride of authorship in the photos. I'm always glad when they help someone.

I see you live in Scotland. My mother's family is from the Isle of Mull. I've always wanted to visit there.

Hello Alice, A transfer of the memorial would be lovely. I'm quite excited looking at the grave photo. It is really a blessing that folks like yourself take the time to really help others in preserving history and our heritages. Thank you so much. Mary :)

Robert Sim
Thank you so much for adding Robert Sim and his burial information at St. Quivox Cemetery. Robert is my Great Grandfather. I've added his picture. Robert was married twice; his first wife died of cancer. Both wives were named Agnes. I live in Florida, Robert's son emigrated to Canada in the 20's. I was very close to him and my Grandmother. Hope to visit Scotland again soon. I feel my heart is there. Best wishes for good healing for your leg, soon you'll be right as rain. I can empathize from having the same experience. :)

Thank you
Dear Dreameralilu,

Thank you so kindly for what your doing, have done, and shall do too. It is well.

A lot of my kin in and near Kilmarnock came here in the New World, Provinces, Colonies, and US States.

Some of our direct lines are:
Campbell (Loudon, Argyll)

The largest amounts of any from Scotland in the World are near me in what is Hudson County, New Jersey.

I am in the largest County of 21 of our State of New Jersey.

My Scotland Kinsmen and lines went to New England, and Virginia.

The first in 1584 A.D. to what is called the Lost Colony, Roanok. In what is North Carolina now. The first birth of a Scot and UKer in the New World was Babie Harvey/Harvie.

The first female was after and named Virgina Dare and they do have a County named Dare County for here in North Carolina.

Please add me as your friend. On Find a Grave also now too.

Jonathan Robert De Mallie

PS: Is this your kinsmen too?
