You're welcome!
I read your bio and I'm so sorry about you losing your little 3 yr. old child. My husband and I lost twin boys in 1977. They are in the same cemetery where I took the picture of your loved one. I also try to water all the flowers in the baby section where my babies are buried.
Bless you!
Becky

Joseph Arnold
Thank you for getting the photo and posting it for Joseph Arnold's headstone. In the photo I can't see anything on the face of the stone. Is it worn away or is it the sunlight. Do you have any photos of that headstone showing the face of the stone better?

Thanks so much!

Thank you for getting the photo of Bertha's headstone. It looks pretty rough, was it hard to find? I truly appreciate your efforts.

RE: Schröder Family
Great. That makes us 4th cousins (1x removed). I descend through Friedrich's brother, William (or Wilhelm).

I've been trying to piece together when Friedrich immigrated to the U.S. According to the census record, it was 1851 but I have not found a record of his arrival.

I've also tried to find a record of Christian Schröder's arrival, but no luck there either.

I did find William's arrival. He stepped off the boat, as they say, on Aug 16, 1854. He brought with him his wife, a daughter of 3 years, and his mother, Elisabet Stamer (age 60).

If you would like to share Schröder/Schrader information, you can write to my e-mail: ray_herny@comcast.net

Schröder Family
Todd,
Are you related to the Schröder family of Erin Township (modern Eastpointe)?

I saw that you had photo requests for several of this family. I'm a descendant.

Thanks

Alice Showers
Thanks for adding Alice Showers to find a grave.. James Edward Showers was my husband's step grandfather, he's grandmother was Sadie Leist Showers, whom is also buried with James at Vinewood... But Levi (Shower's) was really Levi Wilkinson.. He was Married to Alice before James was.. James worked for the Wilkinson's.. When Levi died Jimmie married Alice.... So that was Levi Wilkinson not Levi Showers.... Thanks alot and if their is anything else that i can help you with please leave me know.. I love to go walking in Cemeteries to look at the graves.. Bonnie

Bertha Arnold
Hello again, I just read your description on the photos, still wondering if you used an index to find them or another method since you are not sure if they belong to the Arnolds. I will look at my ancestry page to see if there is info there to confirm what you found. I am very grateful to you for the photos.

Bertha Arnold
Hello and thanks for getting photos of Bertha Arnolds headstone. It looks pretty well deteriorated, how could you tell that it was her headstone? Were you able to get any photos with better definition?

Thank you so much!

Thanks for getting the photos for Melissa and John Arnold. The lichen is really eating up the marker, glad to get photos before it's illegible. I truly appreciate your efforts!

Your welcome ,
I just feel that since you may be a relative of Gardners you should have the care of the interment.
I know how it feels to be able to have the transfers of my or my hubbys interments of our ancestors as long as I can keep care with them.
So I try to transfer all I can I have made of other peoples family interments to them .
Welcome to you as a new memeber to findagrave and when you can help others in their searches

Kathy
