Litchfield Cemetery, Herkimer Co
We saw gravemarker photos that you posted for Gilson De Long, his wife, and his parents. We are trying to prove dates/places for a DAR application. Do you know if there are any burial records for this cemetery? May we use your grave marker photo as a proof document in our application?

#128350371 Anna Letson Stafford
Hi, I am a Leston descendant and believe that Michael Letson and his wife Hannah (Osborn) Letson are also buried in the old Stafford family cemetery. Michael and Hannah were Anna's mother and father, and they lived on that farm having moved there from Rhode Island around 1799. I cannot "prove" they are buried there, but several Letson descendants believe this to be true. Only fieldstones were their headstones. Let me know if you have questions. I'm in the midst of writing a book about Michael and Hannah and their descendants. Thanks, Sharleen Thomas Espedal

Lola Raynor 156166019
I went back to the cemetery records and it seems that Lola was moved to Glenwood and buried there on November 3, 1933, after the death of her husband.

Ok, I think I have figured this thing out. I have the database for Valley and found two entries for Mary Raynor. One is buried 1851 and the other is Mary Frizzle buried 1863. I did not enter both, probably because Mary Frizzle doesn't have a marker. So that is the confusion on my part. I will make a second entry and straighten this all out.

I received your edits. You identified her as the daughter of John and Polley Raynor, but she is identified as the WIFE of John and Polley's son John in the 1860 census. Based on that census she was born in 1824.
Another issue is the date of death. She appears in the 1860 census with Horace, Julia, Mary and George as her children. Therefore the date of 1851 can't be right. But the note that says 1863 would be right if she were born in 1824 and was 30 years old. Unfortunately I can't view the marker photo right now. I will try again later.

RE: Baldee memorial
I do not know the answer to that question. I wonder when death certificates started in New York.
Perhaps we'll stumble on an obituary someday.

Perfield Girl
Walter and Annis Lee
Thank you so much for looking for these folks at Oakview.

Three of their children, Myron (1843), Oziel (1852), and Clarinda Miller (1897) are buried there, and two death notices for Annis Lee say her remains were being brought to Frankfort for burial. So she's there, but I'm not surprised no stone could be found. These folks were abjectly poor.

Thank you again. I hope your next photo outing is more fruitful.

RE: Kayners
My parents live up the hill from Hoyers on Hick Road. There are two more graveyards up there - but you'd know them- one is the Crim cemetery and the other is an old cemetery run down cemetery officially known as the Jeremiah Marshall Farm Cemetery. The person that took the photo is not from this area and I thought before that he had his cemeteries confused as he said that one particular picture he took was taken in a run-down cemetery . Hoyer, Crim and Highland Rural are beautiful in my opinion ( and I see that LAKE GIRL became so offended by him that she reported him to Find A Grave) .I placed the Kramer's in Hoyer because of Family records and he did take the picture to substitute it, but you are a better researcher so now I wonder. Know what, I should just place the cemetery as unknown until we figure it out and have it better sourced. Please keep me in the loop :)

Hi, just double checking what do you think I need to edit? Happy to do whatever I need to do. It's been a while since I worked on this tree, and I will can double check my sources. This may be the family that was re-buried in Highland? I can't wait to get home this summer and get back up there to research the family plots (although my family thinks its odd that I think that's a fun way to spend my vacation). Although,, the best wi-fi connection in that area is in the Jordanville cemetery (true fact). Your pictures are so awesome !! Thank you!!

Thanks for finding the duplicate. Sorry the person that did it originally made it- well sad actually- the farm and farmhouse we own is the farm farm he built and it was kinda cool knowing I had a connection with him through Find A Grave, but Phyllis had hers before Lake Girl it looks like so I'll delete it. Cheers Charles.

Appreciate the corrections you submit. I wish very much the info be accurate.

However, the date on the tombstone for Mary Harris reads Aug 26. So, I did not change the date.

Hoyer Edits
I made all the edits and then linked a lot. I had trouble from my end so it will look like they are declined- but they aren't. You are awesome thanks for taking the time to add this information.

Processing edits for Hoyer Hill- Is Delia Loisa Bronner spelled correctly (In our family it is usually spelled that way without the u in Louisa)- I'm trying to make out the photo and it appears there is no U in Louisa so I omitted it from the memorial. Let me know if you see it differently- your pictures are awesome clues!!

Edts for me
I just saw a ton of edits that you've found for me! Thanks a bunch- I will get cracking on those this week. Just wondering- how do you add obit's to a Find A Grave- it doesn't seem right to add those to the bio- not according to Find A Grave rules, but so many people do , and I have a ton to add. Also- we seem to be running through the same graveyards- are you related to my cousin Marsha Gay Mikus? Thanks and have a great weekend.
