RE: delma alexander groves
Delma Alexander Groves would be my great aunt. Truman Alexander is my paternal grandfather. I have some pictures of Delma and Clay when they visited. I dont think I have any of your grand parents, tho :(
Been trying to look for her descendants as well as Angalean's. So far no replies. If you have contact with any of them steer them my way, I'd love to trade pics.

I didn't have any luck, but they are not in the VA database for Tahoma. Unfortunately, googling an obit from the 1950's is usually unsuccessful. I would guess that only a family member or a cemetery volunteer that happens to take a picture would know for certain. Good luck.

Ironically, I am researching Mary's husband Merle, who is listed at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA. The Veteran's Administration website does not have him there, plus the cemetery did not open until the 1990's. I also called West Hill looking for Mary, but was unsuccessful. Any help finding the final resting spots is appreciated.

Hi David,

I have found Mary's death certificate which shows she was cremated at the West Laurel Hill Cemetery/Crematory. However, there is nothing in their records recording location of the ashes (no burial site or plot). I have no way to confirm what was done with the ashes.

If you want to contact the WLH cemetery and see if the ashes were returned to the family or if they were buried somewhere in the cemetery - I'll be happy to go get a photo. At this point, there is nothing else that can be done to locate the site.
