You have a photo request for this person

http://findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=131059423

but there is already a photo for her marker and the family plot marker. Did you want some other sort of photo? I go to Elmwood about once or twice a month.

If not, maybe you could delete your photo request.

RE: Oak Lawn Cemetry
The plot info should have been sent to Anne who holds the memorials (in EDIT format).

I just did this for you....when she finally gets around to it, delete your request and re-enter it with the plot info which would now be in!

I live in northern Indiana and only went there for the Shirley family (my kin). I did as much as we could for others (getting plot info from the office ahead of time). We didn't get to all that I had info on, but did what we could in the rain.

A family member will have to pay for the date to be put on his stone....there is always a fee for having this done.

Oak Lawn in Sturgis, MI
for each of your requests in Oak Lawn, please call the office at (269) 659-7245 and ask for the plot numbers. Write them down. Go into each memorial and add the Block letter & Lot # deleting the requests as you go.

Wait until the edits have been used and then re-request each again. The cemetery is LARGE and most won't even try for photos requested unless there are plot numbers.

Sue at the cemetery office is always willing to help. IF you are in need of a lot of help...try e-mailing her with your list = semrick@sturgisMI.gov

My daughter and me have tired reading this head stone. Can't figure it out. We even took paper and crayons to do a rub to try and get it cuz it unreadable.
We think it says
Rest! Father rest in quiet sleep While friends in sorrow o'er thee weep

Hello,
I requested a photo for a memorial you manage, John Blake (#144221358). The photographer created a memorial for John's wife, Eloise (Warner) Blake (#169520176). I thought you might like to know.

Jason S. Hulet
Mary Waldo Hulet's 1st Husband
Hello,

Mary Josephine Waldo Hulet - Her first husband was Hugert Theager. They had a child named Adelaide who passed away at 4 years old. We have a photo of Adelaide but with a hand written discription of her father as being Hugert Diger not Theager. Just wondering if you have any more information about Hugert Theager/Diger. We also can't find where Adelaide Theager/Diger (Hulet) is buried.

Thank you for any info!!

Sarah Lutz #34874657
I took the pictures of Sarah Lutz's headstone and transcribed the marker on the stone as follows:

SARAH LUTZ
Died
April 29, 1903.
Aged 88 yrs, 5 mo.
& 27 days.

Sleep, dear mother, sweetly sleep
Till God shall wake thy dust.
To walk the golden street
With him, thou dids't trust

I think that if you zoom in on the close-up photo you will be able to read the transcription.

Hello:

I made the edits that you mentioned for Hazel and removed the link to Earl that you said was her brother.

Here is my BIG question. Why would Hazel have 2 grave stones?

I am really wondering if these are 2 different people.

Please get back with me.

Pat

RE: Long Gap
I think Findagrave programming doesn't allow for long spaces. I think it automatically adjust the post for them. Punctuation however is a different matter. I'm not the most tech savvy person but I know from experience that wireless communication is quite often the problem when it comes to something like a keyboard or a mouse. Especially when you use a barebones low grade system like the one I have. Sometimes the communication just isn't there without rebooting. In my case its a printer.
