Kelley relation to Hill lineage
I am trying to solve a mystery. Francis Patterson Hill is my 2 G-Grandfather through his daughter Melcena.

Through Ancestry DNA results, user name bkelley188 is showing as a 1st-2nd cousin relation. I cannot find the Kelley line through Ancestry. Might this be you, or would you know who that user may be? hat is a very close DNA result, but I don't know who that may be. Living persons cannot be seen.

Andrew Jackson Ivy, Jr.
My great-grandfather was James Perry Ivy (we can prove this through DNA and a census. His brother was Andrew Jackson Ivy, Jr. I saw the picture of Andrew Jackson Ivy, Jr. that you posted on findagrave, and I can see that it was cropped from a larger photograph. Do you happen to have the full photo? It would be wonderful if you do and it happens to show the siblings or parents.

Hi, Karen.

I'm new to this site but found a photo on the above site. My mother-in-law's mom is Zella Mae Cantwell pictured in the photo. Is there any way you could e-mail it to me at Thanks so much!

Hi Karen...I kind of stumbled across this site while looking for information about my uncle. In doing so, I decided to leave a flower for all of his fellow soldiers who were killed during the Kwajalein Island battle. So now I'm on your uncle's name and I see they were both in the 7th Infantry Division 184th Infantry Regiment. I don't know what happened to my uncle; I was born in 1973 and my mother in 1947 so neither of us ever met him. I just wanted to send a message to you to see if you knew yours or anything. I keep hoping I'll find something one day :)

Edith Annie Brown
Dear Karen,

I am wondering if you are the daughter of Dorthea Kelley? or are you related. I have been looking for Clarence Brown's relatives and know that he was married to an Annie Brown and they had a daughter Dorthea who later married a Kelley. I stumbled upon Annie's grave site and saw your name and was wondering if you were related. If so, do you have nay information on Clarence Brown's other children? Clifford or George? He had other children too, but I don't know their names. And do you know who Clarence Brown's mother and father was and where he may be buried? I would appreciate any info that you may have. Thank you so much. Jacque my direct email is

Davison family links
Think that I have made all the family links that you requested. Glad to be able to assist. It just really helps to be able to link the family together rather like putting a puzzle together. If I missed anything, please let me know.

Hi Karen,

I don't know anything about Enoch. I happen to live close to the cemetery. So one nice day grabbed my camera and walked and took pictures. I wished I did no more sorry.

RE: John Henry Bowser
Good deal Karen,
I have changed the info to be John F. Bowser of Bedford Co., PA. Did you get my email? I forwarded to you the IL State Archives documents of John F. Bowser as verification. Connie

RE: John Henry Bowser
Karen, We are both wrong. It is not John Henry Bowser, Jr. I am going to forward you some documents, to your email, that proves the person. It is John F. Bowser born in PA. The forward is from the guy that sent me the msg that this was the wrong John Bowser. He is correct. So, you will need to unlink the children from him. I am going onto the memorial as we speak to add the correct information. Connie

RE: John Henry Bowser
Karen, I do not want to remove the photo and death date. It was added by the cemetery with the name of the variation in the spelling. I did take off the Henry part and left it as just John Bowser. I have a tendency to agree with you but, in the 1860 John Henry Bowser (Bonser on census) is living at Piney, Madison Co., AR, age 61. Do you think he could still join the service at that age? I know he was from TN and was living in Madison Co., AR by 1850. I hope, we can get this solved so, the memorial will be correct. Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated. I have sent a message back to the man that sent me the info that he thinks it is a different John Bowser but, have not heard back from him as of yet. Connie

John Henry Bowser, JR
Karen, I have been contacted that the memorial for John Henry Bowser is not correct. The headstone says Jno Bonser and relates to Civil War service from ILL. I have the memorial for John. I want to make sure this is correct. Do you have any additional information so, I can make sure it is correct? Thanks so much, Connie
