Hi Deborah- ich versuche Ida Nielsen mit ihren Eltern zu verlinken, das funktioniert nicht. Warum nicht ? Gruß Aenne

I'm so glad you found and were able to visit this cemetery. The ladies that own the land said when I was there that the cemetery needed attention but it seems life gets in the way and things don't get done. Sad, but true. I've had a few instances of finding blood relatives that were very hard to locate but when found, it was a moving experience. I'm so happy you found your ggg grandfather and I'm glad that he knows you came to visit. Good luck in all your searches.

I'm so glad to hear of your success and visit. Major Henderson Alley had one of the more impressive headstones in this cemetery. I'm sure he's glad you found him, too.

I forgot to tell you, I think I took pictures of all the marked graves in this cemetery. I know this doesn't replace a personal visit but its all I can offer.

RE: Alley Cemetery
Its been a while since I was there and not sure I can tell you how to get there. Its on private property and I remember going down a long concrete driveway because I knew I was close. A man named Corn lived at the end of the driveway but the cemetery was next door and he took me to the owner's house and introduced me. Sorry I don't remember the ladies name that owns the property but she was real nice and let me drive (yes, drive thru the fields) about 1/2 mile back to the cemetery. I know this may not be much help. I do remember the lady had a long gravel drive up to her house and we had to go thru an electronically operated gate to get to the house. Sorry, I know this isn't much to go on and wish I lived closer to KC so I could show you how to get there.
