RE: Thanks for the photos
Hi Robin, you're very welcome for the photos. I hope the photos were clear enough to show the location and I have included a caption in the overview photo. These photos were requests but the memorials were created by Angie who has done a lot of them recently at Union. Since only the creator can make the transfer you should ask Angie as you have done for me. Good luck and have a great day!

Memorial #83232094
The Find A Grave section under FAQ, Membership/Signing In, “What is a photo request?” mentions: “Many cemetery offices will only provide that information (exact grave location to photograph a possible marker) to relatives of the deceased and will not assist photo volunteers with finding the grave location.”

There’s a reason more than 50 requests have not been realized for Woodlawn Cemetery in Green Bay, WI. I suggest you contact the office manager, Mary Lemirande, at (920) 432-6077 or email her at to learn the exact location of Margaret Patterson #83232094, especially which Park (section) and names of individuals buried on each side (N,S,E,W) of your individual. Then, go back to your “Request A Photo” and add those “notes” so a photo volunteer can at least take a photo of the grassy plot if no marker is present. The cemetery does not usually have a record if or when a marker was placed at a grave site. Without the specifics, the only other suggestion I have is to remove your request. Thank you!

RE: Thank you!
You're welcome Robin. As to your request for a photo of the cemetery sign, I have a couple of new photos of the sign, cemetery and chapel submitted to for approval. If you would like me to send them to you separately as well, I would be happy to do that. Let me know.

I'm glad that I could assist. I was also happy to see the stone in better condition than previous photos. Have a great day!

RE: Tarpley Cemetery

I did take photos of all that were there and will get them on. I will probably add a general picture of the whole cemetery for those that are buried there that don't have a marker, so searchers no they are buried there but don't have one.
I will get them on ASAP. It's my favorite thing to do, but life has been a little busy this month.

Don't give up on me.

Sarah Packard Shaw in the Old Graveyard in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts

Hello Robin,

Thank you for asking so politely about Sarah Packard Shaw in the Old Graveyard in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts. I think I have done all that I can for her memorial. I have entrusted her memorial to your care. Hopefully, one of these days, the final resting place of her parents will be found and she can be linked to them :)

RE: Alfred Gaston
Dear Robin,

Thank you. I do not believe that you had a request for the photo of
Alfred's stone. It wasn't requested when we went to Cayuga County
yesterday. He sent me copies of the non-requested photos he took
when we were at Old Montezuma and so I thought you would want
to see Alfred's stone. I didn't know until I saw the memorial that he
was Ira's son

You are welcome,

You are very welcome. Daryl actually found them. I went to Vermont
in 2005 and walked the Spear Cemetery in light rain and found my
fourth great grandparents. It was quite the experience!
