Hello! I will see what I can dig up. I love a good history search!
I am currently cancer free. They got it all with surgery. Unfortunately I've developed internal abscesses from the surgery. Its a battle but I'm fighting my hardest. Thank you so much for your prayers. God bless you!

RE: Amanda Coppelbarger corrections
Becky, history is a funny thing, it changes with the politics everywhere. Now we all know the stor of Paul Revere. This is sad really, he did not complete any ride, it was another man but...when the poem was written, the other mans name just did not fit so, Paul Rever got the prize. I wonder just how many hundreds of things got changed for really stupid reasons. You can tell I am a book hound. lol

Becky,

Thank you so much for helping and getting the photo. Frederick Yordy was my GG Grandfather. Unfortunately, he passed away before my mother was born, and I do not even have a picture of him. Thanks. Howard Michael Tranor, Tallahassee, Florida

RE: Florence Clippinger
Becky,

I was taking pictures in Spring Hill and came across her parents' stone. It has her name on it but no death date. I talked to the caretaker and he said Florence was never buried there. That is how I came to find out her remains were at Rockafield. I don't think she ever had any children so it seems no one collected her remains/ashes from Rockafield.

Thanks so much for all your help with this and thanks for all you do for Find A Grave.

RE: Florence Clippinger
Becky,

Thank you so much for the information. That helps clarify why there is only an interred date marker. It is unfortunate that the cemetery didn't at least give the people who donated their bodies to science name plates.

Her name is on her parent's stone in Shippensburg, PA and when researching her I discovered her Ohio internment. I had the memorial in Shippensburg changed to a cenotaph.

I will ask Mr. Seibert to add the info to the memorial so it may help avoid future contributors looking for a name plate.

I will remove the photo request.

Thank you for taking the time to look into this!

Becky, I had added Walker's info to this site about 8 months prior to yours. I am not a relative, just a classmate of his.

I appricate your time and help on Find A Grave. Thank you Patty#47517041

Becky,
I appreciate your effort in trying to help me
find where Marcella O'Roark is buried. The memorial number you gave me is the one I've looked in that cemetery for her .... to no avail. I checked the cemetery where her husband is buried and was told she wasn't buried with him but a lot beside him was being held for another woman. Thanks.....Kay

Becky, I deleted Ella's edits. I think it's possible if not likely she was married to a Swadner before Winter. I just couldn't find any record.

My interest in Winter began when I purchased a 1948 press photo of his elaborate "no trespassing" signs at the bottle farm.

RE: Doris Penrod photo request
There have been about 5-6 of us that generally do photo requests at Spring Grove. I have never met or crossed paths with any of the others. We had the total down to about 200 requests but it's getting close to 1000 again. The extreme heat hasn't helped. We will get it down in the fall. I would probably do more except I drive in from Indiana.

You're welcome Becky. Spring Grove is sort of a project in my spare time. I got up early this morning to beat the heat and rain we are supposed to get over the next 3 days.
