Lucinda Hensley
On your info regarding Lucinda Hensley that was married to James Hensley (Jim), they were never divorced. On the find a grave site for Ferbia Henslwy. These are my grandparents and hie was married 3 times. His first wife was Hester Collins, second wife, Belle Carter and third wife was Lucinda. You have the incorrect Lucinda listed. He and grandma Hester had 5 children. He and grandma Belle had 4 children and he and grandma Lucinda had 5. The names of Aunt Ferbia's siblings, some were half and some were whole brothers and sisters. It's very confusing. Only family mambers can sort this out.

Wash Smith Cemetery
I'm not sure how to reply to comments on my page so I will answer your question here :)
The Wash Smith Cemetery is actually behind the Day Jackson cemetery in Cranks Creek. There's not many of the headstones there that can easily be read but if you are looking for one in particular, I can go check it out if you aren't able to. You could also check the Day Jackson cemetery listings to see if what you are looking for is there. The two cemeteries are only separated by tress so it could easily be mistaken for the same cemetery.
The George Pope cemetery is above Martin's Fork Lake. There are no signs pointing to it and it is only accessible by boat or ATV unless you don't care to walk for hours. A lot of people get it mixed up with the Euel (Ewell) Pope cemetery but they are in two completely different places. I have great grandparents and 2x great grandparents at the Ewell Pope Cemetery and 3x great grandparents at the George Pope cemetery. I documented the headstones I could read for the George Pope cemetery on here under the Old George Pope Cemetery. I hope this helps. If not, let me know and I'll see what I can do. God bless!

Patrick Mays
Barb A couple of weeks ago, I visited & photographed the Bennett Cem, Bradshaw, Jackson Co, Ky & created Patrick # 158049342. He has a rock & metal marker here & family is also buried here. I found his death cert & searched for his wife, Bessie & found the two mems of her & Patrick you had created. I didn't see any stone or marker for Bessie there at Bennett but could have missed it. I need to return when weather permits as I need to re-take some of the stone pics that didn't turn out the best. Are you related? Would like to get Patrick at the right cemetery. I'll transfer if you'd like. Please respond. Don

Hi Barb, I think he should be at the Hainor or Hayner at Chapmanville according to death certificate. The Hainor at Crooked Creek where I took cemetery photo's at was deleted and merged with Hainer on Big Creek outside of Peck's Mill. I was wanting to put GPS location for map and have been looking at some of the D.C.'s. If they say they died at P.C. or C.C. for Hainor it should be Crooked Creek. I didn't know there was a Hainor or Hayner at Chapmanville until I looked at D.C.'s. Any imput would be appreciated. I have asked adm. to put Hainor back to Crooked Creek with my photos. Still waiting. Thanks, Diane

RE: Della Frye Tomblin # 88416213
Della is my great grandmother. I know that she is buried next to her daughter Florence and my mom Sharon is on the other side of Florence. They are in our family cemetery in Harts, WV on Della's property up on the side of the mountain. I haven't been up there since 2000 and I can not remember where my great grandfather William is buried at. I do know that some of Della's children are buried in the same cemetery as she is.

John Ledford
Barb, there is a Browning Cemetery in Cranks, Kentucky. I took several pictures while there & have added them, showing the name of the cemetery. It`s a very small cemetery on private property & you must have permission to go into it.
Also, Evarts cemetery did not exist in 1961 when John Ledford died. I went there & was surprised when told this & this is how I started my search for, well where is he buried then ?, lol. I asked my Uncle Howard Farmer, who is 87 years old & lives in Cranks to take me to great grandpa`s ( Pap`s ) burial lot & that`s how I found him & got the the pictures I posted.

I may have the wrong Billy Pettry here but I thought that I was requesting my cousin Eugene's son who was born and died about that same time. If it is the same person, we played together as children when he would come visit his father from Ohio when we were children.

I am Della's great grand daughter. I was wondering where this cemetery is located at. I looked at the list of names that are in it, and I do not remember them as being in the cemetery with my mom, grandma, and great grandma as they are all buried next to each other up the hill from my great grandparent's house on the farm. And my mom and grandma are not listed as being in this cemetery.
