Elizabeth Blackerby
Michael-I finally stopped by the Mayes cemetery today and got the picture of Elizabeth Blackerby's headstone. I was wondering if you have a family connection with the Mayes family cemetery? I'm glad I was able to get the picture for you. Lisa Smith Mayes

Elizabeth Blackerby-Mayes cemetery
Hi Michael-The picture I took is of the footstone, she has a very nice headstone as well=I have no idea why I don't have a picture of it, but I will get back out there and get a picture for her memorial page, So many of the heastones are damaged in that cemetery, but Elizabeth's was in good shape. RE: Re: Martha Hawkins Perkins
Thank you for your response. I too am sorry we got off on the wrong foot as it were. I did indeed go out to the cemetery yesterday with my daughter and grandsons to take multiple photo request for Pleasant Hill Cemetery (sixteen to be exact). I went ahead and posted the photos that I took of the "Perkins" family, since my angles are a bit different than yours. I hope you have a pleasant afternoon. Debbie

RE: Re: Martha Hawkins Perkins
Oh, and by the way, I claimed the request on May 4th and you didn't post the picture until May 14th. A contributor has fourteen days to post the picture before their claim expires. So how could you not have noticed that it was claimed?? Just curious....???

RE: Re: Martha Hawkins Perkins
Humm.... I believe that I said Please and Thank you in my prior message to you. I was not chastising you, simply asking you to abide by Find A Grave protocol. If you indeed viewed the requests for the photo why would you not "claim" it?? To avoid this type of duplication of time for other contributors this is why there is a "claim" button in the request section! I am sorry if you are offense was intended. As I said, simply asking you to not supercede others efforts. My time is as valuable as yours, please keep that in mind. Have a great day!

Re: Martha Hawkins Perkins
Mike, When someone else has claimed a "photo request" as I did with Martha Perkins, you do not go and take the picture and post it yourself. That is against Find A Grave protocol. Please be respectiveful of other contributors on here and do not supercede someone else's efforts. Only take and post pictures for photo requests that you have "claimed". Thank you!
