RE: Harry Wesley Mills & Georgia Lee (Ingoe) Seay Mills
I'm glad to have been of some help.

If there is anything else I can help with from Dundalk, give me a yell. I can do obituary searches for the Baltimore Sun, roughly 1837 to the present (with the majority of the 1990's missing).

RE: Frank Leslie Seay #147625915
I think I forgot to include the 1900 census linking Frank Leslie Seay to his parents. His dad, Fleming Seay died in 1887 and was buried in his wife's family cemetery in Louisa County,Virginia. Shipp Family cemetery.Sometime after that widowed Amanda Anna Shipp and several of her adult sons moved to Baltimore, Maryland and in the 1900 25 yr.old Frank Leslie Seay is listed underneath his mother's name as son along with 2 of his older brothers.Hope that helps. When Amanda died in 1911 the family buried her in the Shipp family cemetery in Louisa County,VA.

RE: Frank Leslie Seay #147625915
Hi, thank you for answering. Here are my notes for Frank Leslie Seay. His signed selective service draft registration 1918 List his mother.
In 1900 federal census of Maryland Georgina is listed as the 17 year old daughter of Henry Addison Berry and (sp?)Marshellean Berry with two of her siblings. 14 yr old Mary E. Berry and Harry T. Berry age 13 in Aberdeen, Harford, Maryland. Census records that Henry A. and (misspelled)Marshellean were married in 1882 and length of marriage 18 years.Marcelene's gravestone birth year was misrecorded as 1817 but if you magnify it it shows a weathered 4 and not a 1.The census confirms her birth year as 1847.
Frank Leslie Seay married Georgina in 1904. In the 1910 federal census of Maryland she is listed as Georgie with husband and two sons, Leslie age 5 and Earnest age 3 in Baltimore, Maryland. In 1920 federal census Frank and Georgie listed with son, Leslie age 15.In 1930 federal census for Baltimore, Maryland Frank and she are listed with children, Leslie age 25, Carroll,Walter, Leonard Granville, Elizabeth, and Grace. In 1940 census for Baltimore, Maryland listed with children, Carroll, Elizabeth, Grace. They are also listed in the Baltimore city directory until 1957, Georgina worked as clerk. Thank you for your reply. Frank's mother's maiden name was Shipp.I've been researching my Shipp family for more than 20 years. My "brick wall" is ggggrandfather William Shipp. So it is nice to know that I might be able to help with info for others related to Shipp.

I am very to hear that I was able to supply you with additional information. These people are not related to me. Would you like the memorials transferred to your care? Barb

It was no problem at all. I obtained a key and found her in less than 5 minutes (mostly drive time). Glad to do so.

Thank you for adding the marriage date. If he is the Vivian Hudson who lived on Denver Ave. in Lynchburg, I knew him all my life, and my Dad never told me he was a cousin. Tina

I HAVE DELETED THE MEMORIAL PER YOUR MESSAGE REQUEST.
MY AFFILIATION GOES WAY BACK TO THE MOTHER OF THE 3 JACKSON CHILDREN WHEN THEIR MOTHER MARRIED MY GG-GRANDFATHER, MAJOR HODGE, HENCE FORTH, MY G-GRANDFATHER ROBERT HODGE.
THE 3 JACKSON CHILDREN ARE HALF BY THE MOTHER OF MY G-GRANDFATHER.
THEN THERE WAS BILL HARMON THAT CHANGED HIS NAME SEVERAL TIMES AS WELL AS THE ELUSIVE GRANNY ANDERSON.
THE DOCUMENTATION ON MY G-GRANDFATHERS LINAGE IS BEYOND A SHADOW CORRECT, ACCOMPANIED WITH DOCUMENTED PAPER TRAIL. NO ASSUMPTIONS.
AS I SAID, CAROL DOES THE JACKSON/NOONKESTER LINE. CAROL AND I HAVE WORKED TOGETHER ON THE CONNECTION OF OUR LINES.
HAVE A NICE DAY.

Seeing as mine was made 8/2013 & the other one was made 11/2013, technically the 11/13 should be deleted.
The 11/13 memorial is created by my cousin, Carol Noonkester.
She also does our Jackson linage which is how we are related.
Thank you for your attention to it. We will handle it.
Are you somehow related to our line.

But, I'll tell you real quick how I am related. Martha's mother was Louisa Kelly Jackson. She was the sister of my GGG Grandmother Emeline Kelly Peters. That is who I descend through. :-) Emeline married William Caroll Peters.

RE: Re: Rollins William Harrelson #6430794
I got the info. from: Sullivan County, MO; 1850 US Fed'l Census; Entry #1, top of page 22 of 105 digital images/pages on the Latter Day Saints/Mormon's: "Family Search" free genealogy website, & My Great Uncle, Donny Harrelson's, famiy Bible (retired from Fisheries Division of OK Wildlife Dept.-lives in incorporated township of Dill City, Washita Co., OK, near original Harvey Wesley Harrelson settlement: Sod, Washita County & Red Mound, Washita County--now extint--unincorporated townships).

My 3G Grandfather, Rollins William Harrelson, originally claimed land in Sullivan County, MO (got a Land Patent for it on: 10th of Oct., 1856), & later relocated to Bessie Seger's Township, Washita Co., OK. (Bessie was: Missionary & Indian Agent, John Seger's, daughter--John Seger founded Seger's Colony--currently called: "Colony, Washita Co., OK", when he brought several Native Americans down from KS, & started an Indian School--currently on the National Historic Trust of Protected Properties, but in ruins, at present)
My 3G Grandfather, Rollins William Harrelson, recieved a Land Patent Under former Pres. Lincoln's 1863 "Homestead Act"-outside the current incorporated township of: "Bessie, Washita Co., OK" for: 160 Acres, POST-MORTUM: on the 12th of Nov., 1908 (Died: June, 1907).
I have photocopies of these documents (except Uncle Donny's Bible)--but I need your personal e-mail address, please, to attach digital images to the e-mail (this format does not allow attachments).

Thank you for your curiousity & work on genealogy, & thank you for your intense attention to "detail"...you're doing a good job!

Have fun as you "discover" more "family secrets", digging through your genealogy records.

Sincerely,

Heidi Hoyt
