Ben Bower
Glasgow Cemetery, Wayne & Verna Wright
Thank You for your past help on the Wright's.

I have two more for you. The brother and his wife:
Wayne A. Wright, b:11/16/1913 - d: 9/7/1998
Verna (Hamilton) Wright,b: 1/ 3/1913 - d:12/9/1998.
Do you happen to have the Obituaries for these two?

I believe they had a son Stephen F. Wright, but I do not have his E-mail or address.

I thought you might be able to help or point me in the right direction.

RE: Edit request for Mabel Coughlin
Thank you for contacting me. Yes, Mabel (Eakins) Coughlin was the daughter of Thomas and Alice (Vest) Eakins per her marriage record, available in Ancestry.

Thomas and Alice were originally from Ottumwa but moved to Rochester, Minnesota before the 1880 census (Mabel was born there) and then to Omaha, Nebr. before 1885 when they are listed there on the census with their daughter Mabel. They apparently divorced before 1900 when Mabel is listed on the census in Ottumwa but Thomas was still in Omaha with his second wife. I don't know where Alice was.

I also a newspaper article from June 1910 stating that Mrs. Coughlin of Ottumwa, Iowa was in town visiting her father Thomas Aikin (note his misspelled surname).

The Omaha World-Herald, which published Thomas's obituary, was very sloppy when it came to obituaries. For example, in addition to mistakenly referring to Mabel as Mrs. Moore, it also misspelled Thomas's surname (Aikins) and neglected to mention his younger surviving daughter Dora.

William Carl Olander
Hello Debbie,
Thank you for the info you have regarding William Olander. I remember my uncle telling me about how he robbed a convince store in and ever since then he regretted it from day one! I also remember my uncle telling me that my grandmother mary olander paid for his defense in his trail even tho he knew he was pleading guilty to the crime that he had commited! I do know for a fact that the Olanders married into the Eissler family sometime back near the late 1900's because on 1958 the olander residence became the Eissler residence because grandma mary married into the eissler family at one point or another. The olander residence still stands in Boxholm Iowa where I reside with my father to this day it has been in the family since the early 1900's! As far as William goes his sons moved in with his wife daisy's sister emma and changed their last name to barth instead of olander! that is as far as i know about the william side of the family! The rest of the olanders and Eisslers stayed in boxholm and were burried at Lawn Cemetery and union cemetery just outside of boxholm!

Della Schults
RE: Richard Shultz
Thank you for adding the article from the paper.
I wondered if you could also add the name of Richard and Florence's daughter to his children. Their third child was named Cora A. Schults; born 18 Oct 1906 in Diamond, Wapello County, Iowa. She married several times but her name at the time of her death was Cora A. Weller. She died 05 Oct. 1970 and is buried at Shaul Cemetery beside her husband, Ralph Weller.
Thank you,
Della Joanne Rogers Schults

Thank you for taking and posting the photos showing her burial location.
Also, thank you for your note on your own page regarding divorce vs widowed on the census. There also a few who "said" they were married were actually divorced or widowed.
