Robert Coit # 84105708
Hi-I removed the vital records info about who Roberts parents are. What I can do is just link him to the Joshua and Ann Coit. But the N.London vital records do say Nancy, for the birth of all their kids! I tried looking for a Coit family genealogy, and everything points to "Ann", and it is on the monument, so I don't know how "Nancy" got into the vital records, other than just being a mistake! Irma

Nathaniel Saltonstall
Not a problem. There are plenty of Nathaniels, Richards, Gurdons...throughout the Saltonstall tree, that it can be confusing. I believe there are 3 Nathaniel's in my keeping the dates in order is a challenge. Thank you for keeping me on my toes!!

Feel free to request transfers on any of hose memorials that you are working with. It will be easier for you to work with them directly than through another person.

RE: Elijah Taylor Reynolds confirmation
Another member is working on your kinfolk, and has stated this:

One mistake here is the link for Margaret Annie Andrews Reynolds as John B's wife. She is his sister.

Margaret Anna "Annie" Andrews married Joshua "Taylor" Reynolds.

Her brother John B. Andrews married Annie Reynolds 1868-1931. They had no children. We would be looking for an Andrews female with those dates. Perhaps her first name was different and Annie was her nickname? Since they had no children, I wonder who would have buried her. And where?

Can you provide comment to these observations?

One look at the memorial of Margaret Anna "Annie" Andrews Reynolds and it's amazing how many links there are. You have your work cut out for you!

Elijah "Taylor" Reynolds
Could not find this one among the Reynolds at Sandy Creek, nor in the state of Florida in a search.

Elijah Reynolds
Closest geographical link showing up in a search for this individual as mentioned is at:

Not sure at all that this is the one, but it a small possibility. He would be 51 when his son was born.

John D. Andrews
Used your info to link him to his parents and his wife, who was buried under the name of Reynolds, not Andrews, but all three in the same cemetery. Thanks so much.

Coit individuals graduating from RHS
I'm in the process of creating "virtual cemeteries" for RHS graduates.
I have the following:
Warren - graduated in 1936;
Catherine - ???
Thomas - ???
Richard - in 1946;
Harold - in 1946;
Mary Ann - in 1951.
Do you know when Catherine and Thomas graduated?
Do you know when/if their father, Henry Campbell Coit, graduated from RHS?
Please contact me through:

Richard Coit
At one time there was a request for a photo of Richard Coit's burial spot. It no longer appears on the Sparkman Hillcrest (SH) photo request page. I do not know if you were the volunteer requesting a photo.

I have located where he is supposed to be buried but there is not marker. A friend who works at SH says that the burial location is a double depth plot and that Margaret was to be interred there also.

Would you like me to post the picture of where the marker should be? SH shows his burial location to be Providence Monument Garden, Block S, Lot 51, Space 4.

Thank you for the correction! That was a silly mistake. I have Gloucester, Mass in my tree but, apparently, wasn't paying attention and assume England when I added the info to Find-a-Grave. Good catch! Please let me know if you do happen to find any record of birth or christening. For now I've been Essex with a note regarding the move of the family.

Sorry that I am so late in responding. Have had my computer die on me and am just now getting things back to normal.

You are so correct about the date. On the death certificate it states death date as December 17, 1890. Typo on my part!!

Thanks for the correct info.

TJ & Nancy Crosby
So TJ and Nancy were the parents of Jodie, Tipsy, Robert, Maggie, Benjamin, Joshua and Dicy, as well as Eugene "Gene" Crosby?
It's more fun these days to link memorials that establish them, sometimes.

Duplicate resolved; the other member was kind to include the parent link and such info that was not part of that memorial, so now the other is gone, and only the one left. Thanks again for bringing this to our attention.
