|David||RE: Oak Lawn Cemetery, Olathe|
Yes, I told the guy I talked to that I was taking the photo for Find A Grave. He didn't have any problem with it at all, but then I'm sure he wasn't the person you got transferred to. I haven't looked at the legalities at all; I hadn't even thought of that aspect until your notes. I can understand being uncomfortable going back out there; maybe I've just been lucky in my contacts with that cemetery.
The Olathe Memorial Cemetery is an interesting place to wander, even if you're not looking for anything in particular. A lot of history there, and nice monuments. There are also some smaller cemeteries in the area that can be very nice.
I'll let you know if I hear anything else about Oak Lawn; I'm not sure when I'll be there again, but shouldn't be too long.

I saw the note you left about Oak Lawn Cemetery issues. I think that they may be working to correct that. I was just at the cemetery yesterday (May 22), and there were two fellows there riding around in golf carts attempting to help people visiting the cemetery. The one I talked to was helpful, he had an index of burials, and was able to get me to the marker I was looking for. All I can suggest is to try calling again, or try going by the cemetery. The guy I talked to indicated that they intended to have a presence there, especially on the weekends.
Don't know if this helps any, but just wanted to let you know.

Thank you Lisa for the pictures of my Great Great Grandmothers grave stone. It was sad when I got home with pictures from there and they weren't as clear as I wanted so thank you so much for taking the time to do this for me! Now if I could just find her husbands grave.
