|Molly Blade||Thank You!|
I appreciate you keeping up with the listings for your extended family, especially the gamut of Jesse James's crew. I added a new link in the chain today. I've checked this site for years and somehow I didn't realize who you were until this past weekend. I look forward to delving into more of your extended research! Take care.

Just a note to let you know my g-grandmother was Christina Pate. What I know of her is she was a daughter of George and Sarah Pate. She married David Wood, son of William and Talitha Holmes Wood. They had two or three children, I think the first one died infancy. My grandfather was Elmer Seba Wood and his sister was Dolly Wood. I think Christina possibly died in childbirth with Dolly and soon after David Wood dies, too. The two children were raised by their grandmother, Talitha who moved from Indiana to Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma. I wish I knew how they died and where they are buried. Thank you for all the history research on the Pate family.

|Jim Bohn||RE: Davis memorials|
You are welcome. I am currently going through the oldest sections of Clear Creek and adding any stones to Find A Grave that are not already memorialized. The Davis' were very recent additions.

|Margaret||65922823 your request for transfer|
Please go to this Memorial and click on Edit in order to request the transfer. I need to have a name to be sure I'm transferring the correct Memorial. Or, I will be glad to add any info you have if you forward it to me.
P.S. Please ignore the reply I sent you regarding John Edward Schoeppe link to his mother. I have several requests and mistakenly replied to you on this one since I didn't have a name with your request.

|Bart Moonen||RE: Calvin Pate|
Dear Mrs. Pate-LaCroix,
During a dig near the village of Schömerich in Germany in 2010 myself and a co-worker recovered a shrapnel damaged American helmet from a World War 2 foxhole. The helmet has been ID-ed as belonging to a Mike Philiposki who died of wounds sustained during a German counterattack on that position. However the helmet liner contained the number P 2366 which is a short version of the Army Serial Number used in that time period. The only match for this number is Calvin Pate. A company roster from August 1944 revealed to me that Calvin and Mike served together in G company of the 302nd Infantry Regiment, 94th Infantry Division. I was hoping to find out more information about Calvin, his life and perhaps some pictures of him. I have been studying the events of the so-called 'Battle of Lampaden Ridge' for about five years. Please contact me on my e-mail adress firstname.lastname@example.org. Perhaps you also have some questions that I can help answer. I know that alot of World War 2 veterans never talked about their experiences.

I've sent you an email with a photo of Calvin. I'm not sure his parents have been added to F-A-G. There are a few memorials for George Washington Pate but I couldn't find any for Margaret.
