William G Honey
William G Honey did not have Cherokee blood. Our Cherokee blood comes from his wife Prudence Reno she is Cherokee, her father Amos Reno was Cherokee from the Carolina's.

RE: John W. Honey
Thank you. Maybe when you return we can talk about this. Our records at the cemetery do not show any members from the Honey family. However, there is another potential cemetery in Herculaneum (bit it was founded in the late 1800s. Perhaps a private family cemetery? There is a Fletcher family cemetery now on private property.

Again, thanks for responding.

John W. Honey
I am interested in knowing what information you might have about John W. Honey. I have an individual who will be speaking to our historical society on September 1, 2016 about John Honey. I am president of the Herculaneum Cemetery Association and our records do not indicate that John Honey is buried in the Herculaneum Cemetery. In fact, the cemetery didn't exist before 1915 and John Honey died in 1832.

Can you shed some light on whether or not he is buried in Herculaneum.

Thank you,
Bill Haggard

RE: Pancake
I checked my records and didn't find a connection to the Pancake family. Apparently, "Pancake" was just a nickname.

RE: duplicate

I think Find A Grave had a momentary “stroke” of some sort. I checked right after I got your message and there were two memorials for each when you looked at each memorial page but only one memorial for each when you looked at the index. For fear of erasing the memorials I left them alone.

When I checked the memorials again this morning the double entries had gone away. In fact the husband and wife were no longer linked as husband and wife. I reconnected them and it seems to be better now.

Thanks for all your help.

Thanks for the obitures
Thanks for the obituaries you have sent. I have added each to the particular memorial. They are such a rich bit of family information.
