I noticed you added a pic of Amelia to her memorial, I'm researching Brining's and would love to know some about Amelia and her parents.

George Harry McDonald
HI,
I just recently found this site and wanted to add the the above name in the subject box...is my grandfather. I am the oldest of the grandchildren. Altho he died before I had a chance to meet him, I was told many story's from my grandmother Ruth.
I am doing the research on my grandfathers side and don't have much information at this point. But that won't stop me from trying :)
Anyway just wanted to thank you for what you do have here.
I would like to add that I have my grandfathers death certificate and on it, it says his name as George Henry McDonald. Typo error? Maybe. I was always told it was George Harry, that was why my uncle George Harry "Skip" McDonald was named after him.
Anyway, thank you again,
Debra L. McDonald-Accetta

William Leonard
I am stunned, I sent you a private message informing you of research I had discovered after much searching for William and you which was information I thought would be helpful to you since it is your memorial you made without knowing anything about him. If you do not want to manage his memorial I would be happy to do it for you. Why in heavens name would you post my private note to you on his memorial and put my name on it. I thought you would do research on his burial and find out if he was buried here or with his first wife ???

The least you could have done was make a state he might not be buried on this site just because of what I told you and having no death date on the headstone.

Did you ever follow up with the cemetery and burial records????

He is probably not buried here - he moved to California was there in 1920 and his first wife is buried Polk co., Oregon.....is not always a good idea to presume if a headstone is a body! Did you check with the burial records?? added by Find A Grave member Pat Shaw

Sheriff Charles Keeler
A thought - Charles may not be buried in the cemetery and that may be why the cemetery has no record but also this was a long time ago and the cemetery likely doesn't have any records that far back.

Mary Wickman and Charles Keeler and Frederick Wickman
Thanks for finding Mary Wickman and Charles Keeler and taking these photos. I had forgotten to link Mary and Charles Keeler and so glad you found Charles headstone as I had been told by someone that his headstone had been moved from "downtown" The Dalles to the cemetery.

Are you going to add Frederick Wickman to Find A Grave? If not, I would like to add him and you could add your photo:)

I think the cemetery should know that his headstone is there if you haven't already told them. Thanks again. I piece of history solved:)

There are not 2 memorials for Mary Wickman. I have requested a photo of her grave. There are 2 memorials for Maud Brownhill. I did not request a photo of her grave.

Minerva Murphy
I received your note about Minerva Murphy already having a picture on her gravemarker. I saw that memorial and picture, if you look at the picture you will see it is partially covered in mud-it's not a good picture. This is my uncle's grandmother and we were trying to have the picture re-taken so that we could have a nice picture of her marker.
