Crumley Cemetery
Thank you, Teresa Stevens! Your public statement that you take tombstone photos of cemeteries you visit shows what a generous and kind person you are. Those photos are a nod to the deceased and to the family that someone cares.

Thomas L. Harman
Maggie Harman/Harmon

Thank you very much for filling my request for Maggie's tombstone photo.

It's a struggle to try and figure out how one family branch spells their surname compared to a sibling's branch.

Harman and Harmon seem to be interchangeable. The records indicate Harmon but here the tombstone shows Harman, when Will's parents stone shows Harmon?

I do appreciate your efforts.

Thomas L. Harman

Thank you so much for taking the time to fill my requests for Herman and Helen Graybeal's tombstone(s)

I do appreciate the kindness.

Have to ask, did you by any chance take a photo of the entire stone, showing both halves?

Trivette Cemetery
HAPPY DAY, I figured out which cemetery it was that you had posted. It had us in a tizz trying to figure out if we'd missed a cemetery somewhere!

You had it listed as Trivette and we had it listed as the Humphries Cemetery. We talked to the property owner (Mr. TRIVETTE) and then also found genealogical information that the Humphries were the original owners, thus, the reason for two names.

We were surprised to see that there were several new burials since we had been there and if you don't mind, we will include them on our list for the TnGenWeb page.

Sorry for any confusion, and glad we have the mystery solved!!

Trivette Cemetery
Hi Teresa, I just noticed that the Trivette Cemetery that you added for Sullivan County is actually not in Sullivan County. There are only two Trivette/Trevitte Cemeteries in the county. One is near Rock Springs area and one is up in the woods on South Holston Lake. Both are neglected and overgrown.

Charles Ford may also contact you about the cemeteries, as we're working to get all the Sullivan County cemeteries uploaded to the TnGenWeb page.

Cora L Thacker
Hi, Teresa, I was just at the Morning View Cemetery this past week looking for the headstone for my great grandmother Cora L Thacker and her son James E Dickson. I see that you posted the picture. Do you remember what section or area the headstone is in? I walked about for about an hour but could not find the headstone. thank you.
