I am a great great granddaughter of Julia Stanton. I remember aunt Bertha Huften. I am trying to find out who another Carrie Ralston was. Not Lelia Gumaer's mom, but another probably one generation younger. She was my mother's aunt. My mom was Edna Gumaer, daughter of Edwin and Lelia Gumaer. Thanks

Mr. Huften,

Appreciate the info/insight. Might I possibly get a link to the applicable site or document so I can review and reference it appropriately in the family records.

Again, many thanks for your heads-up.

As a child I lived briefly in Yaphank (probably in 4th or 5th grade) on Crescent Street. That's my interest in the Potter's field. I used the county records posted at:
and took some pictures when I visited a few years ago.
Hope this helps.

William Corse Bio
Hello Chuck, I found a link on Ancestry that lead to a photo etc you had of one of my ggg grandfathers, William Coleman, he m Hannah Corse, in your Bio you have his father listed as a Richmond Corse, I only knew of a Joshua Corse as his father, can you please tell me how you came up with Richmond Corse? I am wondering if I have the wrong father! Also, For years we thought William and Hannah only had Maryann, but William had a Will and I was able to get my hands on it, they had daughters and there is no mention of a son.. not sure where your info came on this, maybe he did and it was just not mentioned in the Will, the daughters they had were Julian , Maria, Lucinda, Maryann, Dorothy, and Caroline, and was William not only kind enough to mention them but also their husbands names! Would greatly appreciate any help you can give, best Regards, Anne Long

Samantha Hufteln Allen 1828-1859, according to information on stone gather back in 2001 (name on stone was Samantha)
Transfer request should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be siblings, parents, grandparents & great grandparents. Plus there are a few others who also claim her as a ancestor. Please use your Virtual Cemetery feature.

John Congdon
Congdon Street Cemetery, Montville, New London County, Connecticut, USA

I have a John Congdon, b. 21 Dec 1784, Montville, New London, CT; d. after 1825 in New London. He was the son of David and Mary (Bishop) Congdon. I suspect the broken headstone is this John. Ellen
