|Carol Workman||Dudley Farthing|
Hi - I am originally from Marion Co., IL and have Farthing ancestors on my paternal grandmother's side. I now live in western KY & am familiar with the location of Logan Co., KY. I am also familiar with Antioch Cemetery in Marion Co., IL. I am confused as to the burial location of Dudley Farthing. If he died in Logan Co, KY, was he buried there or in Antioch Cemetery in IL? I appreciate all the work on the Farthings you have done on findagrave! Thanks for any info you have.

|Mary Lou Cook||William B. Tipton|
You show William's birth place as Bedford Co, PA. I'm curious about your source. My Tipton family lived in Bedford County, and I've never seen this William B.(Memorial# 130550422). Thank you, Mary Lou

|Jane Lewis||Landy Farthing|
You have a birthdate for Landy Farthing of 1775, but this is not possible since his son would have been born when he was still a child.
Richard Henry Farthing is listed as having died on Jan 13, 1821, so not likely to have married on the same day. Dorothy Farthing was his sister, not his cousin, so she is not a likely spouse. He was still alive in 1840, so perhaps he married a woman named Dorothy, whose maiden name was not Farthing.
My great grandfather Lemuel Farthing married Nancy Mary Riordan and named his daughter Dorothy Jane Farthing, born in 1815.

|Jeff Rankin||Rankin family|
How much do you know about the MO/IL/OK Rankins? I've been trying to research my family's genealogy and suspect that clan may be distant relatives of mine.
Specifically I found the entry for a Dallas Ray Rankin (#76284033), and while I can't figure any direct connection to my family he happens to be buried in the same cemetery as a Grant Rankin (#84246954). This Grant Rankin is, I am almost absolutely certain, my great-grandfather's brother. It could be a coincidence I suppose, but I'd love to know if there's any connection.
An an aside Dallas Ray Rankin has a father, William Norman Rankin (#84246954), who's photograph, I feel, bears a striking resemblance to my own grandfather, Pratt Cooper Rankin (#5390537).

This is the site of my late mother-in laws mother
Ada Gollahon (nee Martin), and my late wife Debbie's grandmother. I was wondering if you would be interested in giving me maintenance of this site?
Your consideration is appreciated.

|German-Irish Lady||Little Grove Cemetery|
Just a short message to let you know that Little Grove Cemetery (also called Little Grove Christian Church Cemetery) is in Walnut Hill, Jefferson County, Illinois. The north/south dividing line is Walnut Hill Road. The South side of Walnut Hill Road is Jefferson County, IL and the North side of Walnut Hill Road is Marion County. (I live here so I should know.) Someone on Find A Grave (must not be from around here) has also wrongly listed this same cemetery as being in Jefferson City, Jefferson County, Illinois which again is entirely wrong

Can you please provide the written documentation showing that Thomas Bolin (1766 - 1851) is factually the father of Jesse. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=129832063

John Rutherford Duncan is my 2nd great grand uncle. You created the memorial for him and his wife, Rhoda (Allmon). I was wondering if you could take a photo of the headstone, if there is one? If there's isn't anything, do you have a picture of the entrance to the cemetery?
Thank you so much.

Kathryn, I stumbled upon a family tree on Ancestry.com that had a photo of Sarah's gravesite in Illinois. I linked the connections to her family on Find A Grave. I may have sent you some edits. I lost track. In any case, Sarah has been found.

Thank you, Kathryn. I did a little clean-up on Josie Beasley Cooksey's memorial first, requesting links from managers of her childrens' memorials. You should see those reflected in the next month. Am happy to "meet" a member of their families, and appreciate your contributions. --Harriet
