Scott Bumbaugh
Name of unknown son of John Weisel and Rebecca Koontz Weisel
I believe that the son buried in the Pleasant Hill United Church of Christ cemetery with a death date of 14 April is John Weisel. On the 1860 census is a John Weisel, aged 10 months. If you do the math, August 1859-14 April 1861 it come out at 1 year and 8 months.

Stewart Alton Knisely #133359194
Every record I have my great great grandfather is listed as Stewart A Knisely. I have posted his death certificate on the along with his obituary that my great great grandmother published. I have seen that my edit has been declined. I have also looked over both his son Kenneth and his daughter Floss and he is also listed at Stewart and on the deed of his property that my grandfather bought off his woife in 1973 he is also listed as Stewart. Please reconsider maybe he went by Steward also.

Meade Graham # 161272943
You sent me the following message:

Just writing to advise you that the info I gave you to up-date Meade Graham's Memorial was based on his obit published in the Huntingdon Daily News on January 11, 1961, Page 2. Thank you, Diane

The obit does not state that he died in Danville. It does not say where he died. If you have a different obit than I do with different info then you could email it to me and I will update the memorial and remove your name from it.

Thank you.

Frederick Schneider/Elizabeth Caroline Mohr
Hi, Diane.

I see that you've got some information for this couple. I am interested, because I have a great grandmother, Helena Schneider Christ, whose father was listed as Fritz Schneider on her death certificate, and her mother was (Unknown) Mohr. She was born in Germany in 1854, and came to the United States via Castle Garden in 1882, with her small children. In 1900, the family moved from Montour County, PA, to Greensboro, Caroline, Maryland. They were back in PA in 1905, though her 17 year old son Michael was killed by a train in Maryland that year. I always wondered what would draw this family to Maryland, and why was her son left behind, when they had no known connection to the area... but it seems like Frederick could be why.

I found Catharine Snyder's death certificate, though I wasn't looking for it. Her father is listed as Frederick Schneider, and her mother as Catharine Mohr. I think there is a link here.

C. Blair Mark
Thank you so much for posting this headstone ! I have been searching for C. Blair Mark!! He was theoretically married to my grandmother in 1920, but the marriage was annulled by her father because she was only 14! There are two daughters from this union -- Thelma Lucille (1921) and Audry Louise (1923) - she raised me -- before Chalmer died of consumption in 1923!
