Thank you so much for taking the time to locate and photograph the memorial for me at Catholic Cemetery, it is greatly appreciated. I would like to ask your permission to use your nice photo (with proper credit) for a WWII project I am working on I hope you will not mind, please let me know if OK.
Would like to ask if you could remove the duplicate photo in order to leave room for additional pictures to be added in the future.
Thanks again for all your efforts in fulfilling my request, Cheers!

South Park Cemetery - Roswell, NM
Sorry to say there is no headstone for this lady
PB is Public Burial - for familes who could not afford to bury their loved one or for someone who had no family.
There are no exact plot locations in the Public Burial Sections either. There are 3 sections.
They also buried people fast if they had a contagious disease, lots of Tuberculosis here as there was a TB Sanitarium here at one time, lots of diptheria, and such.

|Boyce M. Lawton, III||RE: James Benjamin Thomson|
Thanks for a very confusing question! :-)
My honest answer is that I'm not sure.
James Benjamin Thomson (1786-1837) was my fourth great-grandfather.
I am descended from him and his wife Catherine Williams > Elizabeth Allen Thomson & Joseph Maner Lawton > Thomas Oregon Lawton & Mary Phoebe Willingham > Herbert Lee Lawton & Lucile Adele Mendenhall > Boyce Mendenhall Lawton Sr. > Boyce Mendenhall Lawton Jr. > me.
My tree weakens around James Benjamin Thomson, so I am assuming you have just helped me with a correction!

first never a need to apologize .. it takes time to find the information on where your ancestry. I have had information on one grave stone result in 9 new people into my tree and therefore new photo requests.
Unfortunately, we move around in our RV and are no longer in Del Norte. If we return to that area will again try to fulfill requests.
Hope someone else will fulfill requests at that cemetery soon.

|DBrown||RE: Real Parents of A.A. Timmons|
You are dead on. Since I received your first message I have found that his father's name was William but that his mother's maiden name was Vashti Manning.
The information that I have on the memorial was given to me by a contributor who is supposed to "know it all" so I didn't question it. My mistake !!! I will be changing that.
Thanks so much for the correction.

|Steve Burton||RE: Ponce Avelino Jr.|
Thanks for shaking up my memory.
When I took this photo, I noticed that there was no birthdate written on the memorial, even though it was right there on the grave stone. So I wrote to the manager and asked her to change it.
She never changed it.
If you are related to this man, why don't you ask the manager to transfer the memorial to you, and you do the fixing?
I don't have any relationship to this man.
