|Catherine DeLong||Find A Grave Memorial# 103864942|
Thank you for photographing this tombstone. It is possible it is my great uncle who was killed in Manila. I'm trying to identify what is at the top of the stone but am able to do so. I realize that it's been several years, but do you recall? Also, I am quite sure whomever this is that they did not die in 1999, but likely 1898 or 1899 due to the age of the stone. A typo, I am sure! :)
Looking forward to your response. Thank you much

|Lawrence & Sue Dale||Corrections/additions to Findagrave|
I have sent several requests for additions to memorials in the Dela Cemetery near Antlers, Oklahoma. All are of close relatives by Findagrave standards but we are not requesting transfers to us.
From looking at your Findagrave profile, I think you are nearly inactive on Findagrave and are possibly not familiar with the new Findagrave procedures to process these requests.
If so, on your profile page, near the top center, you will see an EDITS tab, nearly greyed our. Please click on it. A listing of all requests for transfers will open. Simply ACCEPT these requests and all the work is already done.
This is so simple and fast from the way it was done in the past.
Thank you for adding your efforts towards the Dela Cemetery memorials.

Ms. Farmer- My name is Alan. You may have met my wife or myself. My FIL owns the land that Ingle Cemetery, Johnson Co, Texas is on. But my wife and I are essentially the custodians over it. The photos look good! Are you managing this cemetery on Find A Grave?

I'm so sorry that you're unable to locate George's grave. He was a WWI Code Talker; I'm truly surprised that he doesn't have a military marker.
Thanks for your efforts, Suse

|Debra Usry||Carter infant boys buried at Soper Cemetery.|
Do you have any information on who the parents are of these two infant boys Michael Eugene and Travis Eugene Carter, buried in the Soper Cemetery. I am the librarian at the Lamar Co. Genealogical Society LIbrary in Paris, Lamar Co., Texas. We have the Johnson Monuments Records and are going through each one to make sure that those buried in Lamar co, Texas are in our Lamar co., Texas website database. We ran across the orders for both the boys tombstones and with each order is attached a picture of them in their tombstones at their funerals. We would love to know the parents to add to this information and we will place these in file folders.
Hope you might help?? Thanks and God bless.

Thank you so much for the photo. I have been tracing my ancestry and this is one of my mothers relatives. Since I have never been out of the State of Oregon it is impossible for me to get the photos by any other source than kind Find A Gravers like you both.

Thanks for the headstone photo and the message about Mr. Ashby's year of birth. I got the information I had from USGenWeb Archives at http://files.usgwarchives.net/ok/leflore/cemeteries/octavia.txt. I have no way of knowing which date is correct, but have changed it to match what the headstone says. Thank you!
