I want to thank you for trying. As you can see on his death certificate, he is buried there. Probably there are no stone for him.

Thanks for the photo of Myra McCachern's pretty tombstone. You sure don't see many pink ones like that. I wonder if pink was her favorite color?

RE: JOHN LECONTE HARDEN tombstone
Good morning, Joy,

How frightening to find that you have a "slow brain bleed" from a fall! Yikes! I'm so thankful your surgeons were able to repair it for you and that you are on the mend.

Thank you for sending this quote so quickly. I will type it in under the photo of John's tombstone and please know that I have credited you with the tombstone pics I am submitting of: Dr. Samuel Way, Olivia Tuckerman Axson Way (do so wish someone would/could repair her tombstone), Dr. Samuel Jacob Axson, Ann Lambright Dix Axson, Hugh Clifton Norman & wife Annie Lucille Harden, John LeConte Harden and wife Annie Olivia Way.

I am grateful to you for providing such wonderful photos.

With much appreciation,

JOHN LECONTE HARDEN tombstone
Hi Joy,

I'm closing in on Anita Walker Hoffman's DAR App. !! Were you able to transcribe the Inscription at the bottom of John LeConte Harden's tombstone? If so, will you please share it with me and also post it on his Find A Grave Memorial page.

Thank you,

RE: BRANDON Elizabeth Patton Lock
I spend a lot of time at Ancestry _smile_ and I noticed you lived in the area and I thought how lucky you are!

I will go play at your tree - but I know that Davy Crockett's daughter married a Patton and I wondered (feeling fairly sure) if he was one of "ours". Do you know who he was?

The Ann Locke buried at Thyatira seems to be of the wrong generation to be the mother of John Lockes children. Maybe she is the second wife, but I only have these people thanks to your work and I maybe just too deep in the weeds!

If I can ever get those straight I can maybe ask some coherent questions

When they insist on using the same few names time after time after time it is hard! I am going thru Thyatria cemetery and having trouble sorting the generations for this reason.

No one know where her parents are buried - we presume in Marlborough twp Chester Co. but at a church or on their Plantation an't begin to know.

Joy Steele -

That was such a quick response to getting the pictures taken. I appreciate the effort. It helps to put a picture with a name, even if it's only a headstone. This shows they lived, much warmer then a cold fact.

Thank you.

So right, genealogy takes us all sorts of places and I bet you have lots of cousins and connecting lines that only connect thru you and your family!

First thank you so very much for doing this memorial at Thyatira Presbyterian Church Cemetery, I have been looking for her in Chester Co., Pa where "I" last saw her named in her fathers will (and because it is where I lived).

I entered her maiden name in an edit because, well, it seems right. But she was first married to a Locke who didn't make it to America. I think having the Lock name is good and so useful in connecting her to her children. Anyway I leave it in your hands _smile_

Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Cemetery
Thank you for the info on the Caldwells from Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Cemetery. I made a note on the memorial. Maybe there is another Mount Zion in the area but I am not familiar with the area other then the research. I also had her sister as buried there Laura Belle Cherry Ellis. I added a memorial for the Ginola you mentioned that you found, but have found limited info on her. Thanks for all your help!
