Mary Elizabeth Miller Turner
Nathan, the picture of the tombstone marker that you added is not the same Mary Elizabeth Turner. The birth dates and death dates do not match the ones on the tall headstone pictured above, which is legible.

You have a Mary Hall buried in the Justell Cemetery, is she the wife of George? George is my husbands great grandfather that is buried there and he never knew where Mary Roop Hall was buried that he can remember.

Archer Brown Layne
Nathan, You submitted information on an Archer Brown Layne buried at "Layne" in Betsy Layne, Floyd Co., KY. I am an organizer of the Betsy Layne Cemetery in present day Justell (just north inside Betsy Layne). I pulled Archer's death certificate matching his death to 3 other same exact deaths. Poisoned in a mining accident.

Do you know where the "Layne" cemetery is you have Archer B. Layne listed buried in?

Thanks!

This is a duplicate memorial and the other one has family links. You might want to transfer your pic to the other mmmorial.

It's at the Salem Methodist Church. I believe off of or by John's Creek.

George Washington Gordon
You have the wrong tombstone for this George. The tombstone belongs to George Gordon son of Abraham Gordon & Salome Mechling. His wife is Elmira Burgess. George & Elmira are at Highlands Cem.

Just a mistake,

Sharon

RE: Georgia Brown
Thanks, Nathan. I've been trying to find him, but only could find a Gary L. Clarke in Gallipolis, who is an optometrist. I doubt that's him. I called the office this morning and left a message with the receptionist, but haven't heard back.

I want to ask his permission for us to use the photograph with the article I wrote (it's about the roots of the song "Sweet Georgia Brown").

I appreciate your patience and the replies you've given me!

Edwina

photo of georgia brown?
Can you help me locate the owner of the photo accompanying the Georgia brown memorial? I'd appreciate knowing whether that is a photo of the life-size portrait of her.

Mary E Turner
I have been entering photos for Grandview Cem in Bremen OH. I believe you have the stone photo for Mary E Turner #7269i4102 under the wrong memorial. The photo belongs to Mary E Turner #107466497. The graves are next to each other. Please switch pages

Memorial #36887963, Elizabeth Weimer
Nathan, Thank-you for taking the picture of Elizabeth Sterner Weimer's monument. She was born 26 Feb 1784 in Lehigh Co., PA; I have her birth and baptismal records. In 1805 she married Godfrey Weimer. Her father, Michael Sterner, was a RWS, born 1758 in Frederick, MD, and died 1822 in Somerset, PA.

Elkins Family
Nathan, Hi I am from the Elkins family. My grandfather Booker Elkins was born in Pike Co. the place was known as Beefhide. My father and I are also trying to find out information on some of his family. We are trying to find my great grandfather's grave. He is buried somewhere in the area of Dorton, and his name is either Harvey William or William Harvey Elkins. My dad can't remember which way it goes, but that's his name. He said he believes he died in 1958. All he knows is the cemetery where he is buried is suppose to be located on a hill and when they went looking for it, you couldn't drive to it. We would be ever so grateful if you could maybe help us find his grave or maybe the cemetery name. We live in Powell Co, so it is hard for us to travel up there a lot in search of his grave. His wife Nettie is buried here in Powell Co she died Feb. 14, 1959. We never knew why they didn't take her and place her along side of him. But we would love to find his resting place so we could place flowers on his grave. One thing my dad can remember from the only time he was ever there, is his picture is suppose to be on the head stone. Thanks in advance.

Thanks re: William N. Larabee @ Maple Grove
Nathan-

Thanks so much for adding a burial for my great-great grandfather William and great great grandmother Elizabeth (Lizzie) Larabee. I have added photos of the headstone.

Just curious... what made you add the burial record? Are you a descendant?

Thanks again,

Brad Funk

Thank you so much for taking the time to get the photos of my great aunt Ella and her husband Willis. I had been to that cemetery once, but missed these headstones. Can you tell me where in the cemetery they were?
