I appreciate the photos, the headstones had the month and day I have been looking for, for many years.

I was in Van Zandt County today looking to no avail. We ended up seeing the Salt Museum and East Texas Zoo and Gator Park.

Thanks a million. Keep up the good work!

Best Regards,

Douglas Vail

Thanks for the photo of the headstone of my long lost relative of the 19th century. I am grateful for quality people like you that help preserve precious accurate history that survive the 'vale of time' countervailing the travails of weather.

Photo Of Fathers Tombstone
Thank you so much for doing this, I have yet to see his grave site as I live in San Francisco and he lived in Texas with his late GF who did not let his kids know he had past away, it took me years to find where he is buried.

RE: C. Hurst tombstone and photo request
Well it is quite strange, and this was a photo of my husband's great grandfather. They did live in Quinlan, TX and his own father was born there. Believe it or not my father-in-law actually came down to South Texas in a covered wagon!! He was born in 1915, and ended up in San Antonio, Texas where I eventually met my husband. I sure wanted a picture of that tombstone to add to my printed records and scrapbooks that I am making for our children and grandchildren. BUT THANKS SO MUCH FOR LOOKING for the tombstone man. I do appreciate your effort and I know how difficult it is to go through a cemetery and look for just one headstone. Your time was greatly appreciated and I just wanted to thank you for it. Hope you have a good week, what is left of it anyway. Susan

C. Hurst tombstone and photo request
Your search of the cemetery for this photo for me was greatly appreciated. You said "you searched the entire cemetery and could not find the tombstone". I wonder how the picture got put up on Find A Grave ? If it is not in the cemetery, shouldn't the photo have a question mark as to where the person is buried??
