Wow! You found another of my family's death notices in the Waseca paper! Thank you so much for messaging me. I have added the notice to her bio.

Do you just transcribe death notices from that paper, or are you researching this family specifically? First, you found my 2nd great-grandmother's death notice and now you've found my great-grandmother's death notice. Would love to know if the Maroney family is a specific research interest of yours.

You are welcome very much. I am so glad I had the photo you needed on file. I have walked and photographed all the cemetery, but have not had the time to put them all on the website yet. Let me know if there are any others that you want and I will try to do those first. I hope you enjoy your day.

Thank you for the Obit! I have added it to her online memorial. I didn't receive a formal approval notice for adding the suggestion, so I added it manually. Let me know if you would like any changes to be made.

Hope you are keeping warm and well.
Have a Merry Christmas!

Donna,

Glenn Abbey covers a large area. My method is to take a certain area, photo the tombstones then come home and check to see if they are already listed in the cemetery, if they are NOT, I then create a memorial for them. I presently have not come across Morris' grandfather; but I will NOW keep an eye out for his grave stone. Sorry I couldn't help you further at this time.

Depending on some medical issues, I am headed to FL for the winter in early Oct. There may be a chance I will have an hour or so to go look. Wish my grands were still at home - we could have put more eyes on it.

Bethal Cemetery - Sleepy Creek
Hi,

I am somewhat familiar with that cemetery, having placed flags there for the American Legion for years. There are many of the older graves to the left of the church that are sunken into the ground or no longer readable.

It sounds like someone has done their do diligence in trying to locate the two graves.

If you would like me to take a second look, I will be glad to try. It's only about 3 miles from my house.
