Find A Grave Memorial# 89451996
Thank you so much for transferring care of my dad's memorial to me. I updated that his mother was the same as his siblings and will give my mother a new copy of his memorial (as she doesn't have internet).

Redman Cem./LaPine

I lived in LaPine from 1988 until 2009 and when I surveyed the LaPine Redman Cem. in 2006 some of the the info wasn't as up to date as your data, so whenever I see that you have a more up to date photo of a tombstone I will erase mine and use yours. If that is okay with you. I have since moved to Vanc. Wa. to live with my daughter as I am 73 years old and need nicer warmer weather.

We found a large Allen monument without any dates. It appears to be a large family plot, about 6 graves. There aren't any individual markers. The marker is fairly old. I have checked the cemetery records and there isn't a record of Jul's grave. It is possibly in this one. I will be glad to photo it if you would like.

Hi Tiffanie,

Thank you for creating David's memorial and posting a photo of his headstone. I see you updated the bio section for David...thank you!

I was wondering if you noticed the two other edits I sent - one for a link to his mom and one to add some birth/death info. including a correction to the month in which he passed away.

Thanks so much!

Hello, Rosana is my 3rd great grandmother. There is already a memorial for her on Find A Grave that was created back in 2005 buried in the same cemetery. Please be careful not to duplicate people and to take the full photo of headstone. You left off her first married name of Conley that is on the headstone. Please remove your duplicate memorial for Rosana Montague. Thank you, Lisa

You now maintain this memorial. Could you please tell me if they have a son named James (1922-1942)? Thank you very much. Someone is requesting a headstone of a James and I believe it is right next to this stone, but unfortunately, the stone has fallen over and unreadable.

RE: Sarah & Amos Hankins
I'm sure Sarah was buried next to Amos as when my Aunt Faye and I visited Burns Cem. she pointed it to me. You can check with the cemetery records of that county to proof it. Let me know. Also a fact you need to know is Lucinda's sister Clara A. Hankins m Charles B. Feast husband is buried in Burns Cem. He was shot and killed by a sheriff Sughrue out of Ashland Ks. and killed 25 Dec 1886. Story from my grandpa Ernest has it that it was a mistake in identity as Charles and Clara were riding into town, just alongside a gang the sheriff was following and because he was so refinely dressed, the sheriff shot him. Clara grabbed the gun and shot at the sheriff but missed. She was three months pregnant. I am proffong details on this story though court records and sheriff logs out of Ford Co Ks. and will let you know the outcome. It is also told me from my Aunt Faye that Clara wouldn't have anything to do with her brothers after Dr. Ashley died. I do not know why or where Clara and Dr. Ashley lived after they married in Ks. but may of been in Colo.
Now I know how you found me. on
This site is awesome. Georgie Ann
