Hi Alan. The tombs are so weather worn that I could not get anything but their names. That they are next to Thomas is meaningful. I think the key is Hannah. She had 12 children and Thomas is one but her bio only names 3 of them. And not David or Mary G. Lot of opportunity and fun.

Hi Alan. I found David, Mary G. and Thomas in a row in section 2. Hannah was not there but I could give a good guess she was buried in the empty spot next to Thomas. I will post photos to Thomas but how do you want to handle David and Mary. You could create a bio for them and then I;ll post. No hurry.

Your message indicated that "... the grave site, unfortunately the picture listed is not of Simeon and its hard to read also, though clearly not his, can you double check your pictures."
Please be sure you LOOK at the photo and its [I thought] helpful caption, explaining the photo in question:
"According to Gray Cemetery Association burial records, Simeon was buried in plot 4-H-07, the same plot as Maria Coffin Benson (in photo).
No stone/inscription was found in this plot for Simeon."

Hi Alan. I am a photo volunteer and my wife has relatives in Bridgeport. We don't have a plot number but left a message for the Pastor. It's a small cemetery so maybe we'll get lucky. Do you know anything about the layout? If we end up walking around, I'll look for Thomas and Hannah. 268 years for her.

No problem. There were so many requests for that cemetery, that I have found it easier to do a photographic inventory of the cemetery instead of searching just for those that have requests. I may take me a while however it there are other people in the cemetery you are looking for please check them and see if photographs have been added.

I was in the process of uploading the photograph of his stone with his name and dates on it when I got distracted. Then my computer was preoccupied with other people. I am finally back on my computer and just uploaded the photograph. If your looking for information on his burial, the State of Maine has a collection of burials in that cemetery through 1990. The collection is indexed and accessible through familysearch.org. From what I have found using that database, is that the name indexed is usually the plot owner.

Please excuse my tardiness in getting the photo for you at Bunker's Mortuary. I was called out of town on a family emergency. I'm back now and will get myself over there tomorrow.

You're very welcome. You had asked to check for Thompsons that might be nearby. I found one marker in Plot T, Section 2 with Everett B Thompson, memorial # 26658952; Carmel Thompson, memorial # 26658981; Charles W Thompson, memorial # 26659025 and Amy R (Flagg) Thompson, memorial # 26659053. I've added photos to the memorials. Are they part of your tree?

Marker was next to roadway. Looks like someone came off of the roadway and ran over the marker.
