|Jacki, Weymouth Massachusetts||John A B O'Keefe 94666754|
It appears that I found his service record and the other information was sent to me. It doesn't have the usual lines, spaces, and italics that I usually use, looks like cut and paste from an email. When I was looking for the soldiers from Weymouth I had a database. I would do a little research to separate one John Smith from another John Smith, but I also got a lot of feedback from the families.
Looking in, it appears that his wife was Susan? If you think this is your ggggrandfather, I can transfer this profile to you, but ask that you let me know where he is buried if you find out so you or I can transfer this information to the Weymouth Historical Society.

Really appreciate your efforts to locate this patch of grass. This child's mother passed away several years ago, lived in this area, surprised there isn't something resembling a marker. Thank You

If he died in SF, he was probably buried in the IOOF Cemetery at Lone Mountain in the Richmond district which was closed in the 1920's and all remains moved to Colma.

There is no longer a stone for A Jenkins. Using records from the Ct State Archives, from 1934 cemetery inscription project, it appears his stone (and that of a son Christann and daughter Mary J. were in this location which is a few rows back from the front of the cemetery. If you give me an email address I will provide you a copy of the record.

I took a quick look for AJenkins today and did not see a marker. Many stones are old and faded. I will try again on a sunny day. But I did post a cemetery photo. (There is no sign)
