RE: Charles Perry
The Oviatt pictures are added. Emma's maiden name appears to be Mary Emma Jones. According to burial records.

Charles Perry
As per your photo request for Charles Perry, at Greenwood inquiring if his wife shared his plot. The is a Emma Oviatte, and her husband Albert, buried in Charles Perry. From a quick family search, there is a marriage of Emma Perry to Albert Oviatte, shortly after Charles death. Are you sure of the name Annie?

Ira Bushnell
I think I have found the gravestone for Ira Bushnell in the Cypress Cemetery in Old Saybrook, CT. Unfortunately most of the front has broken off. I think I can barely make out the last letters nell from Bushnell, august from his death date and possibly the 67 for his age. I do not want to post the picture since I am not 100% positive it is the right stone even though it looks to be in the correct location according the the Hale Collection. It is so badly covered in moss and lichen. I can send you the picture if you would like and you can do with it as you please.

Hi again Sandy. I recently found the Moss family has a large branch of their own in my family tree! So ironically when I was taking pics of the Moss family I hadn't yet known of this connection. Also I found a picture of my uncle and a Moss playing together as boys in the 1950's! I am decendant from the Lowmans Family if that is familiar to you, we should talk more--- feel free to private message me if you'd like; I would love to hear from you again. And also, I feel that I should be thanking YOU! So thank you. :)

Leon Albert Yates
do you know if his wife was Gertrude? and if her ashes were also spread somewhere? I am related to the Mayers and that was her maiden name.

You're welcome , Sandy. The stones for Samuel and Mary were too wet to photograph - you wouldn't be able to read it all. I'll be out at Evergreen in a few days and will try again. We got some snow today and more on the way Wednesday so later in the week may work.

Lorenzo S.
Grave Photo Urgency
My family has always been closely connected to the Thomas Jefferson family. It was one of my relatives that read Mr. Jefferson's will. Once I got out of the marines, I moved to Madison, Wi. I know I was drawn here for a reason. Through research, I discovered that Thomas Eston Hemings Jefferson, a child of Thomas Jefferson was buried in a local cemetary here. The grave was not being cared for and is in a vandalized condition. I know Thomas Jefferson helped my family out many times during his life. Therefore I believe it is a responsibility of mine to help restore this cracked tombstone. It has been bitter cold here with much snow on the ground. However as soon as it warms up I will start taking pictures for your request in this area.
P.S. check out my home page to learn more about this great family. Please send me and email if you need pictures right away of you deceased love ones, at or call me at 6084213282. I will upload photos in order of urgency, so please text or email me today.

RE: Betty Yates - Woodlawn Cemetery
I have confirmed that there is NO marker for Betty Yates at Woodlawn Cemetery in Syracuse NY. I physically searched the area and found nothing. I checked back at the office and got more information as to where her plot would be and did find her unmarked plot. I have a photo of the unmarked plot between 2 other markers that were used for location reference. Let me know if you'd like a photo of what I found.
